Zagdag round 1 WIP

The collection of items that will go into my entry, and my progress so far (or lack there of...) No one had the mini locally so I had to order it and the damn thing took forever... I opted for the mimic chest because A: its an awesome interpretation of the theme and B: it is a good excuses to practice some non-metallic metal gold (also theme worthy). hoping to finish the first layer tonight and the baseline for the NMM gold. In between layers I will be rounding out the base and adding some coins I punched with a hole punch as well as adding in some grit and dirt to the non-brick areas of the base. I started on the base already just to help get my pallet straight, but I might repaint it once the mimic chest comes together (still not sure what color the beasty part of it is going to be, possibly red).
