I go walkin' out after

I wanted a kind of quietness to Zoraida's crew- with no guns or swords or anything flashy, it didn't really feel scene should be about them coming in, ready for (or in the middle of) a fight, and instead I wanted to create a narrative of Zoraida and her followers moving through the largely undisturbed swamp.

I pictured the crew as part of a single scene while sculpting and painting them (which is most cohesive with Zoraida's lantern "shining" on Bad Juju), with Juju serving as the transition to the Silurids which only lit by the cooler moonlight.

I drew on a lot of influences for this, including Swamp Thing, Adaptation, actual silurids, Princess Mononoke (in a few places), and Patsy Cline.

Other than the lantern and Zoraida's puppets, the base additions are kneadatite, insulation foam, balsa, brass, and wire (with the orchid being made from the latter two).
