Decembers Curse is a tournament designed to allow all players, be they new to the game or expert, to have a fun day and get right into the awesome game that is Malifaux. Tournament Rules: Models DO NOT need to be painted, however all models must at least be assembled and representative of the model they are supposed to be, with an appropriate and up to date stat card. Proxies are allowed for unreleased models, if you have any proxy concerns, please inbox me. This event consists of 3 games, which are 35 stone scraps. Scoring with be determined using the Domination Format, scoring using TP/DIFF/VP. Crew selection is done with 55ss Limited Faction Pools, which must be submitted to the tournament organizer before the first game. Only a single master and faction may be used for all 3 games. Extra information can be found at the “Gaining Ground” rules pack – available from http://www.wyrd-games.net/Upload/MalifauxGainingGround2011print.pdf Encounters are the “Random Expanded Encounter” from the Malifaux “Gaining Ground” rules pack – available from http://www.wyrd-games.net/Upload/MalifauxGainingGround2011print.pdf Special Events (page 72 of the Malifaux Rules Book 1.5) will be used. See the game schedule (below) for which events will be in place. Estimated schedule: Game 1 – 10am to 12pm Special Event: Foggy 30 minute lunch Game 2 – 12:30 pm to 2:30pm Special Event: Dark Omens Game 3 – 2:30pm to 4:30pm Special Event: Stampede! Pack Up & Awards – 4:30 pm to 4:45pm The cost of entry is $15, which will be used for prizes and trophies. If we have 16 or more players show up for the event, I will be also giving away a Santana Ortega to the first place winner. There will be trophies for first, second and third place and the best painted crew. I'm actually about to post another tournament 2moro, that I'll be running on the 10th of Feb, using the Story Encounters from day 1 of the GT last year.
