gnam
Unfortunately this is delayed until October 15th due to scheduling conflict. Hello everyone. I will be hosting my second monthly Gaining Grounds tournament at Gamers' Vault in Montreal, Quebec on October 8th at 11am. The details for the event are as follows: 35 Soulstone event Single Faction Event (Faction announced at the beginning of the day, that's what you play all day) Open crew construction before each round, 10 minutes provided after pairings are announced for crew building. 3 rounds, 110 minutes + between 0 and 14 minutes extra per round. Strategy selection TBD Scheme are unique across the event (each player can only use each scheme once) Domination point format The cost will be 10$ per non-store member and $5 per store member, with the total prize pool being distributed across the winning players (Total prize pool is $10 per participant, Gamers' Vault is kind enough to supplement the additional $5 per member). The prize distribution will be based on participation. First, Second, Third and Random prizes will be distributed. This event does NOT require fully painted armies, however proxies will not be allowed (including for models that are summoned during play. If you want to summon it, you need the appropriate model). All models must be fully built for the event. Finally, If we get over 10 participants, a Miss Demeanor will be included as a random prize among all tournament participants (all participants are eligible, even if you win another prize). If we get under 10, we'll save her for the next time! Come on out for a great event at a great venue! Edited October 7, 2011 by gnam
