Summary

Welcome to the next M2E league at Gryfalia's!

 

This league is intended to provide casual yet competitive environment for both new and experience Malifaux players over multiple weeks. The league will start with smaller game sizes and growing to a 50SS level.  This will leverage the 2014 Gaining Grounds set strategies for the quarter as well.  Players will declare a single faction to use throughout the league OR a single dual faction master and switch between their available factions.

 

Games will not be required to be played at the store but the usual Wednesday night (5:30pm to Close) and Saturday morning (10am to 1pm) times will be available for people to show up for pick-up games or arrange plans in advance.  A Player must have their score card initialed by their opponent for their points to count but each opponent does not have to be participating in the league as long as the game played matches the strategy set for that round.

 

 

 

Registration

The league will have a one-time registration fee of $5 which will be used for prize support and terrain funds.  You will receive your league record/achievement sheet once you have paid the registration fee.

 

General League Game Rules

   Achievements and rules packet will be provided at time of registration.

 

  Crew Construction: Single Faction OR Single Master, dual faction

      A person may switch Factions OR Single Master with their associated two factions, but will require a new score card and rest their points/achievements earned.

 

  Painting Requirement: Fully painted encouraged.

      Achievement points for painting models and a competitive point will be awarded each round for playing a game with fully painted models.

 

  M2E Avatar Playtest Rules:

      Since the Avatar cards are no longer available, this league will not have players using the Avatar cards for now.

      If something is released from Wyrd we will adjust.

 

  Proxy Rule

     Proxies (substitute models) will be allowed as long as both players agree to their use in advance of starting a game.

     If this is not agreed to in advance then proxies will not be allowed anytime during the game.

 

  Rounds

     Round - Dates - Shared Strategy (Deployment) - Schemes will be set and shared for each day at the store.

     Determine through standard means for other games played.

 

     Round 1 - 11/26 to 12/2 -  26SS - Stake a Claim (Standard)

     Round 2 - 12/3 to 12/9  - 30SS - Turf War (Close Deployment)

     Round 3 - 12/10 to 12/16 - 40SS - Reconnoiter (Flank)

     Round 4 - 12/17 Finale -  50SS - Stake a Claim (Corner)

 

 

Prizes

Prizes will likely be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, dependent on the number of participating players.

   - Best Painted 50SS Crew: TBD

   - Best Painted Single Model: TBD
