Hey All, I'm hosting a slightly modified gg 2018 tournament on August 18th at Third Eye games and Hobbies on Chinquapin Round Road in Annapolis MD. We're starting as close to 11am as is feasible, and we're playing three rounds, four if there's enough people and demand. Two small rules tweaks: 1- There is no painting requirement for this event, but there will be a best-painted award, as detailed below. 2- The top table in the last round will be a straight play-off for first and second place, rather than being just another round of Swiss. There will be a $10 buy-in for store prize support, payable the day of the event. The round schemes and strategies are as follows: •Round 1 - Ours, Standard Deployment, Take one for the Team, Set Up, Covert Breakthrough, Hold up their Forces, Guarded Treasure •Round 2 - Public Executions, Flank Deployment, Eliminate the Leadership, Dig Their Graves, Public Demonstration, Show of Force, Recover Evidence •Round 3 - Guard the Stash, Close Deployment, Guarded Treasure, Search the Ruins, Vendetta, Take Prisoner, Set Up •Round 4 (if necessary)- Symbols of Authority, Corner Deployment, punish the weak, undercover Entourage, covert breakthrough, hold up their forces, inescapable trap Additional Awards Best Painted- Set out a Master and Totem that you feel best represents your painting skills during Lunch, and they’ll be voted on by random patrons of the store. Iron Scorpius Light- Each player who uses a different master in each round will be entered into a drawing for a special prize at the end of the tournament.

Hey all, we're going to be running a Rapid Growth league in Annapolis MD at Third Eye Games and Hobbies at 209 Chinquapin Round Road every Tuesday in April! We're largely focusing on newer players, so we'll also be running hobby help sessions before the event starts. Hobby classes are every Tuesday from 5-6 and the Rapid Growth league is from 6-9! Third Eye Games and Hobbies will be hosting a Shifting Loyalties Campaign in Annapolis. every other tuesday night starting on August 9th. We'll be following the rules laid out in the Shifting Loyalties book with a few small changes. Our campaign "weeks" will actually be two weeks long, and we'll be allowing a maximum of three games per player over the campaign turn. Hey all! Having had some success getting our little fledgeling community off the ground at Third Eye Games in Annapolis we're going to be running our first full event, a Rapid Growth league. It'll be straight out of the packet for the four weeks in April.
