Movement Effects and Disengaging - FAQ

Csonti

Question

In the Movement section of the new FAQ it states:

MOVEMENT

What counts as "moving" a model?

Anything that applies a Movement Effect to the model. Eg. a Push, Walk or Charge.

and then:

[h=3]Placement[/h][h=4]Do I get a Disengaging Strike when a model leaves my Melee Range due to a Placement Effect?[/h]

No, you only get Disengaging Strikes in response to Movement Effects.

Unless I missed something the second part of the answer is wrong (or misleading at best) since you can NOT make a Disengaging Strike during a Push which is a Movement Effect as the previous answer also states.

Yeah, I know that but the post is not about this.

Rather about the wording which IMO makes the issue more confusing to a begginer instead of making it clearer, especially so close to the answer about moving and Movement effects.

In this case a simple "NO." would be better than mixing things up with referencing to Movement Effects - half of which (pushes, falling) do not generate disengaging strikes at all.
