Mr_Smigs
Ok, reviewing the movement section, can a model end its movement on the side of Climbable Terrain at a height greater than 0, but less that the top of the terrain? can a model with flight end it's movement on the side of Climbable terrain, much the same? 0 Calmdown
I've not seen any rule that disallows it. Normally we just use "he's 1 inch up that wall". If a Ht 3 model has climbed 1" up a Ht 3 wall, it then stands to reason that he's visible over the wall. Obviously that's interpretation of the rules since the rulebook doesnt cover it at all, but it's at least logical interpretation.
0 Headcase2
It's allowed. The rules on page 35 of the manual say that you just mark the model's position if it ends up in the middle of a piece of climbable terrain.
0 Mr_Smigs
the reason I ask the part about flyers is that they Ignore vertical distances.... so is that a part of the option they can turn off? say there's a 10" wall that is "climbable" in the middle of the field, with an enemy at the bottom, and another on the other side of the wall. Not wanting to end up in close combat with the one at the bottom of the wall, or in LOS of the one on the other side of the wall, can a flyer chose to hang out 6" up the wall.... 0 Headcase2
I see no reason why not. It's a legal spot to end your movement, and it counts as a distance of 0" from the top/bottom since you ignore vertical distance when moving.
