gregdorf
yes, but if you sacrifice them for Nicos "OMG not in the face" ability then they would not drop a counter.
Goltana
Ok, so then I have an additional question. I was under the impression that the number of counters dropped by a model was determined by the base size. (30mm = 1, 40mm = 2, 50mm = 3) But a post by Zee in another thread says, "I actually like the Necropunks as bait as well for McMs finangling, as you can hit them a couple of times for Body Parts without killing them thanks to Hard to Kill. So you can cut them three times at least as long as you get weak damage every time. I usually stab, stab, Dissection, allowing me to get 5 +2 for the corpse = 7 Body Parts, and then turn it into a Flesh Golem on Turn 1 if need be [YES]. Sure, it uses all my actions, but I still have 2 extra Body Parts for the next turn." Why 2 for the corpse? Necropunks are on a 30mm base, should they just drop 1? Also, is Killjoy worthwhile? He seems powerful, but being that he's 11ss and unique so he can't be summoned I'm not entirely sure.
nilus
Why 2 for the corpse? Necropunks are on a 30mm base, should they just drop 1? McMourning turns one corpse counter into 2 body parts. Thats what Zee meant I believe. You are correct 30mm is 1 counter(40 =2, 50=3) And Killjoy can be fun but he is very expensive so he is hit or miss in a game. YMMV on him. Werecat
Also, is Killjoy worthwhile? He seems powerful, but being that he's 11ss and unique so he can't be summoned I'm not entirely sure. I think Killjoy is a brute. But, like you said, VERY expensive. I can see myself playing him in 40 stones and up, but not lower than that.
