  1. Imho Toshiro can replace Jaakuna and you'll keep both him and Montressor (who can comand minions to fight within Leadership aura). With Toshiro you go through the deck really fast finding both jockers (if you lucky enough with hanged :) ).

Montressor sometimes can be bit slow, but i really like his "stagger doesnt end" aura and staggering pushing atack, situationaly execute is nice too.

  2. Has anyone tried to take Maxine2 with Jedza1 so each time Breachburnt works if model is in Jedza's bubble chronicles will prevent next damage? And how it should work - you cheat card during atack action, model heals and prevent damage from this atack or it will heal after and prevent damage for the next atack? Anyway it feels kinda OP to me

  3. Hi! I have not as big expirience with Raspy 1 but i think she can play in this pool pretty well. Hoarcat is a nice loadstone runner due to steals but he may lack of movement to run from one marker to another once per turn, so maybe i would swap envy for rider (he can help with charges and death beds with his bonus action) but it will leave only 3 stones and this is pretty low amount of them. With Cadmus one of the main tricks is not to allow her models come close to you and Raspy is great with it, again nexus models in most have Mv of 4-5 so tons of slow, staggered and shockwaves will be great

  4. Wondering to know for which pools you are taking first Molly's list from your post, it looks both scheme oriented and brawl oriented but models are squishy to take the fight imo. As for Philip i took him in some specific cases and sometimes he shines and become mvp but more often he get killed too soon (i have problems with activating him in the right time - want to use boring conversation, but than he loses all his defensive tech and it is so sad). Do you use wisper for archie for 100% leap or euo found card draw enough?

And it is so sad that Molly 2 looks like she doesnt work well with her crew, tended to test her but this pushes me off (anyway 2 hanged idea is great).

  5. Imo as Arlos896 said grave goo and Mikhail are dangerous models, in this scheme pool Austera and Damned could be models for breakthrough (Jedza also can move models and place scheme markers with a weary road) and vendetta (especialy Austera with her 1/3/5 12 inch no loss bonus action). Kirai 1 may be worth hiring due Goryo and Gwisin summon. You can try to focus kill Jedza but i think it will be easier to kill support and scheme models and then Jedza.

  6. First of all Onryo and Goryo can prevent enemy models heal with bonus action and it is great against Jedza! Jedza’s crew tends to bubble so shots with blasts and Jaakuna’s hazardous aura have place to play. Jedza 1 can once per activation deal your model 1-4 damage with tactical action so be careful with it. Not shure about Kirai 1 or 2, but kirai 2 and her crew are fast enough to leave your table quarters.

  7. Harsh winter says "model that start their activation must either discard a card or gain Slow", so if model that activates already has slow it must discard a card or can it asy that it choose to gain slow (which it already has)? As i understand model cannot gain slow twice so must discard a card but I can be wrong, thanks.

  8. So, here are 2 minis painted in march for a total of 17 soulstones - best malifaux (not mimic :)) lawyer Amina and old man Fitzsimmons. I hope I’ll paint some more this month.

About basing - until recently i had a problem with bases - didn't knew how to make them, was a bit scared to spoil whole model/composition making only ground effect and painting them. In January i started to use polymer clay to make small things such as stones, use water effects, snow effects, citadel and vallejo ground effects. Now i want to start making more complicated basses using othe materials. Sometimes I use bases with inserts from other manufactures like on this two.

  9. Hi, first of all catalyst doesnt make you to lose poison, it just delas damage, so part of problem solved :) I usually stack poison on few models in crew - doctor itself, rogue necromancy, kentaroi. Zombie chihuaha can bite your models to ping 1 damage and stack posion, catalyst will help to heal that damage back. As i know some people use little gasser to pull my finger and horrific odor.

    Hi,

im trying to get bet at the early game for mcmounring. I cluster all my models together to get the poison stacks, but then im loosing it as quick due to catalyst on mcmourning and Sebastian.

Is there like a decent order to proceedings in the first few activations that get the most out of it?

  10. This month I’ll paint finally arrived December crew starting with Rasputin a and wendigo for 18ss total. If I will finish it fast enough I’ll start painting rest of the crew.

About paints - Usually I use paints from vallejo, few GW colours, washes and technical paint, but recently found out AK 3rd generation colours and fell in love with them (tried only 4-5 colours so maybe not everything is so great). If I need to dilute paints I use Vallejo flow improver for airbrush or just water for brushes.

  11. It was a strange month in terms of painting minis - finished 2 flesh constructs and kentaroi in first few days of January, but this gravedigger waited so long to be painted. Also as part of my procrastination not to finish gravedigger painted few extra minis - sparks, alt rail worker and Mei’s totem. Next month I will definitely paint less minis but trying with quality because I’m not really happy how my guys look now, strange feeling 🤥

Hey weird question about corpse curator. Can it be treated as a scrap or corpse marker for the purposes of say research mission or death beds?

He cannot because he treats so for friendly models not for schemes

  13. This saturday went to the tournament with avaliable title masters (first in our city as far as is know), main idea was to try something new, since i played only McMourning Insanitary.

Round 1 - wedge Corrupted ley lines, schemes i took were research mission and hidden martyrs. Was playing Molly 1 with McMourning 2 (yeap, 2 masters allowed) vs Nexus 1.

First of all i was really nervous about playing agains Nexus for the first time but it turned out that opponent was pretty new to his crew, so it wasnt such terrible. You have necrotic machine to cut off scrap markers and give Rogue Necromancy hands. Tried combo with McMourning 2 steppling Rogue necromancy's attack to crooligan first turn and it was pretty devastatnig - barely killed dr. meredith in 1 activation (1st activation crooligan drops scheme markers, focus, reactivated by Molly, by your side to rogue necromancy, attacks 2 times, second time hits pouncing strike). Also amount of card draw in this crew was realy decent, if you need you can draw 3 cards with last knowledge within RRR aura of McMourning 2. Other than that McMourning 2 makes corpse constructs and going situationally scheming/supporting in kills (nice thig you can give poison to enemy model and push it next to necroting machine with neurotoxins aura).

Round 2 -Corner break the line, took Sebastian Baker as leader, schemes - breakthrough and claim jump on bete noire. Opponent played Euripides 2.

Ohh, that was rough one. I made some mistakes makin roster (took doxy instead of belle) and posotioned groupped up turn 2, so Euripides shoot, hit on negative 2, discards his new tokens, made 2 blasts and flipped 3 severes for 5 damage to target and 3 both for sybelle and sheamus, repeated, hits 3 on target and again blasts for 2 or 3 damage. So, Seanus dies 3 and i become cery sad. Definitely need more practice with him and keeping in mind all those blasts. Anyway ended up like 5-7 lose thanks for Bete Noire and rider kicking cans and making schemes.

Round 3 - played vs only one another resser player on tournament, Jack daw 2 vs Mcmourning 2, standart turf wars, schemes vendetta (Jaakuna - kentaroi 1) and assasinate.

First thing i want to say here is how fascinating McMourning 2 giving 6 upgrades though 1 activation turn 1, just wow. Second thing - you,ll never can make vendetta on kentaroui with 3 upgrades on it, so sad i realised it playing the game. New Jack is great, making crew more mobile and messing with opponents. For expample push tormented models with bonus, move through guilty, which fails duel (placing cards in right way with Jack's wisper upgrade), later hanged just jump to this guilty (or make it with montressor so the will have they activations after that). Hazardous aura from upgrade is huge, this amount of discards you force opponent to is also great, really liked new Daw.

After all i think new McMourning is really strong, Jack 2 feels as kill machine and now i want to try Seamus 2 works well but dont completelly understand how it should be, will thank for any pools or crew advises for him.

  14. Not sure if HH is good to learn revenant crew - it lacks the main part of it Reva itself and her totems which create lots of pyre markers and counts as coorpses. But you can  go Vincent, 1 shieldbearer, 1 Draugr and 1 Lampad so you try 3 minions from keyword. Main issue i see here - lampads need pyre markers to use their demise. Also you can take Vincent, 2 shieldbearers and Draugr with Grave spirit touch upgrade, it will make crew bit tougher to kill.
