I am potentially interested in coming over for this.

I'll let you know once I've got everything firmed up.
There's a risk I may need to push it back ever so slightly dependent on return communication from the venue but during Autumn there's not much activity

19th October is the hope though and I'm 95% certain - there communication isn't exactly the best

Once tickets can be booked (or merely reserved by stating your name as it's free!)
I'll be able to say with 100% confidence

Sooner I get everything confirmed the better though as I want to make a large terrain order!

  2. As part of my building interest in Malifaux again in the local area I'll be holding a Malifaux session on the 29th July to introduce players to the 3E at the All Saints Church Hall from 6pm.

If anyone would like to reach out for a demo on alternative dates please feel to get in touch

  3. After  a long hiatus due to personal affairs I'm keen to get Malifaux rolling again in our local scene

Entry will be free as a means to kickstart interest in Malifaux again however initial feelers suggest good uptake up to a maximum of 16 players. October 19th is the tentative date whilst I firm it up with the venue.

I'll be allowing Dead Mans Hand in the first tournament as a gentle re-introduction into Malifaux / 3E
However I have to make it clear future tournaments will not allow these masters.

The event will be 3 rounds at 50ss per round, fixed faction.
    9am Start

    Location:
    All Saints Church Hall
    Alexander Drive
    Douglas
    Isle of Man

Full rules pack and information will follow shortly once I've caught up with the rules and current tournament format.
I'm just getting back into the swing of things myself so I don't want to post incorrect information but I'll try and keep it to a standard tournament format.

Count on us Dutchies, again, as well! Really enjoyed it and will try to get a bigger crew together for next time :)

Got a feeling the waiting list is going to be even bigger this year as 5 from the Isle of Man plan to attend :D

  5. So it's been pointed out some might be interested in visiting if it's a 1 dayer/ranked and combining it with jollies

With that in mind (it's a bit soon at the moment)

    20th May - Hardcore Henchman 1 Dayer!

    19th August - Gaining Grounds - 1 Dayer!

Wasn't planning another GG so soon to be honest but if we can get a few new faces - great!

That's just superb. And right on time for International Talk Like A Pirate Day last month.

How did you treat the water, tho? Was it off-limits, hazardous, or just severe terrain? Cause it makes up a lot of the board's surface.

I shall in about 3 months when he's done his final touches.

    Primarily because....

In the next tournament I'm organising I'm planning of running a prize for best table to take the strain off one guy mainly supplying all the scenery. (and I want folks off here to vote)

So hopefully be a few other wild creations (hopefully)

  7. So after everyone enjoyed the Shifting Loyalties Campaign as there introduction to Malifaux in my local scene.

We're switching to a more standard format. Gaining Grounds. Every Monday over 5 weeks @ the All Saints Church Hall from January 30th 2017.
£5 Entry - all going to the prize fund. List & Payment must be submitted by January 23rd.

    Fixed Master, 70SS Model Pool.
(I'm using the fixed Model Pool mechanism as a means to not discourage the new players. Some players have 10 masters and tons of models to select from. )

    Each game - 50SS

We'll have a table of prizes to select from and in the following order each will get to pick. (I may switch the order a little)

    1st - Winner
    2nd - Runner Up
    3rd - 3rd
    4th - Best Table*
5th - Painted Crew Raffle - If you enter a fully painted crew you'll be entered in a Raffle
6th - Biggest Loser (most VP's scored in a game but still lost)
    7th - Last place

*Last Tournament 2 of us provided for 7 tables.
This isn't compulsory however I'd like to spread this out a bit and what better way than to give incentive?
Hopefully encourage people to play more if they have there own table too :)

For those that may see this in future - I'm planning a Hardcore Henchman later in the year and if the numbers are there a doubles.

It was treated as severe. He's fine tuned it a bit more by adding more beach/boats etc.

In our next tournament I'm offering a prize for best table so hoping to see more creations...!

Pushing on people building up there crews first before we go crazy and announce Doubles - maybe tail end of 2017!

Got a planned Gaining Grounds Jan/Feb - not even bothered setting up the Event yet though - too soon

  10. The Hall is booked for the Annual 40k Doubles, So thought I'd take the opportunity to hold a demo day as people crash out/random people pop in.

No crew provision necessary - I'll provide it all, there will be 2 tables set up for demos.

The All Saints Church Hall is located here:

    *edit - I can't read a calendar right. It's October Saturday 22nd!
