  1. I just came from my 1st game of M3e. We took our time step by step, following all the new changes, so then we could only played two turns. But was a good start (both 1st try on the beta).
The Strategy was Reckoning, good old killing strategy.
The pool of schemes were Detonate Charges, Power Ritual, Assassinate, Claim a jump and Vendetta.
Total we played was around 4 hours, but like i said, we took our time reading new steps for starting the game, discuss those rules, so after all we only manage to play two rounds, since the store was closing.
Final score was poor due to the short round game it was, but it was a good 2-1 to my friend.
My friend in the forum i thinl its Bigo. His leader was McMourning. He had Sebastian, Rafkin, Zombie Chihuahua, a Kentauri, three resser doggies and two Guild Autopsy, with a total pool of 5 stones. He scored 1 vp from the strategy. The schemes he choose were Ritual Power and Claim a jump, he managed to gain the 2nd vp from the end part of Claim a jump.
My list has Collodi as leader, so he brought to the table 4 Marionettes, Hinamatsu, Vasilisa, Arcane Effigy, Hodgepodge Effigy, Shadow Effigy, a Changeling, as a special guest, Zoraida. I also did 1 vp from the strategy, and it was my only point. The schemes i choose were also Ritual Power and Claim a jump.

Game was slow, but was our fault, deployment took a while, 1st turn took ages. Both had a lot of activations, and specially myself had a lot to do outside activations. But it was the fun i was expecting, love the control i was having with Collodi, Zoraida and the Changeling. Hinamatsu did not killed Rafkin in one activation, during 1st turn, just because it wouldnt give any Vp. A real killing machine commanded by Collodi and Zoradia. Speaking of what i loved to have the Puppet Collodi was never able to, the Voodoo Doll. Easy to summon, easy to kill, easy to generate scrap marker, so Vasilisa, in this case could summon a Wicked Doll. Shame i couldnt linked with anyone.

So, things i enjoy. Once you know your crew cards, and even your opponents, game is very fluid. By turn two, i knew what the generic ability for the Experimental was. Puppet didnt share much, but the armor and things like that, but it was easy to read them all. Loved how Pack Mentality helps. Conditions and Tokens were the down side. Very soon the table was full of things. Poison, Focus, Staggered, Injury, Slow. We tried to mark those things, but we lost track of some of them. FOr instance, we absoluptly ignore the shadow factor of buildings. Another thing we both found a bit annoying, but interesting at the same time, was the new deployment mechanics. The attacking and defensive player, having, in my case, to split the crew to deploy... was really interesting, but for the 1st time my impression was a little wtf. But overall, really good.

Another i could say about the whole expirience is about the hiring process. I kind of miss having more and better upgrades. At least something to really consider. For me, and for my opponent, since he didnt get any upgrade as well, it was like too expensive or not necessary. I was thinking on maybe Inhuman Reflexes on Hinamatsu, or maybe a Dark Pact on a Marionette. But it felt expensive at the moment. So i decided to hire a Changeling instead.

Im sorry i couldnt play a whole game, so my repport it doesnt reflect much. But i think next time we will play much faster.

  2. So im about to try Dreamer, and i thought it would be nice to have a chart wih summoning options, like the one we had back in M2e, so i can play a little bit faster. Just by seeing a card value and the chart i can already know the options of summoning i have. So, here is what i made, hopefully i didnt make any mistakes. If someone knows how to do it in a more fancy looking way would be awsome to have.

    Manifest Nightmare
Cost of minion nightmare + 10 Mask - 6 stat of the action

Cost of Minion and what card do i need

    Insidious Madness (7) = 11 Mask
    Alp (5) = 9 Mask / 2 Alp = 14 Mask
    DayDream (3) = 7 Mask / 2 DayDream = 10 Mask / 3 DayDream = 13 Mask
    Stiched Together (6) = 10 Mask

What can i summon with each high cards, since i can do some combos:

    Red Joker = 14 = 10
    Insidious Madness (7) + DayDream (3)
    3 DayDreams (9)
    2 Alp (10)
    Stiched Together + DayDream (9)
    Alp + DayDream (8)

    13 Mask = 9
    3 DayDreams
    Stiched Together + DayDream
    Alp + DayDream
    Insidious Madness

    12 Mask = 8
    Indidious Madness
    Stiched Together
    Alp + DayDream
    2 DayDreams

    11 Mask = 7
    Insidious Madness
    Stiched Together
    Alp
    2 DayDreams

    10 Mask = 6
    2 DayDream
    Stiched Together
    Alp

  3. I was having a hard time understanding Wicked. Now i do, but i dont think i like it. Sure, sometimes you may kill the model trying to get out, but most of the times it feels like it would only do some dmg, while the model will run out free from range. Maybe would be nice to have the option to either do damage or to reduce the push of the model.
