  1. Saturday, May 2nd, Off the Wall Games (41 Russell St, Hadley, MA) and The 131 Gaming club will be hosting a tournament for Malifaux.

The tournament will be played at 50 stones, with a single declared faction, Dead Man's Hand will not be allowed, and only a single Master will be allowed in each crew. Painting is not a requirement, however players will receive a raffle ticket for each round played with a fully painted crew (basing not required), and a drawing will be made for a painting prize.

Usage of the app will be allowed, but a local game must be set up so your opponent can easily track your crew and stats.

Registration begins at 10 am, with cards flipping in round 1 at 11 am. Each round will be 2 hours and 15 mins, with 15 mins allowed for crew selection, and will consist of 3 rounds. Entry is $15, and will include a pizza lunch, and everything left over will be go towards the prize pool.

The games will be set up as such:
    Round 1 - Standard Deployment
    Strat - Recover Evidence
Schemes - Claim Jump, Hidden Martyrs, Sabotage, Take Prisoner, and Assassinate

    Round 2 - Corner Deployment
    Strat - Corrupted Ley Lines
Schemes - Runic Binding, Hidden Martyrs, Breakthrough, Research Mission, and Sabotage

    Round 3 - Flank Deployment
    Strat - Public Enemies
Schemes - Catch & Release, Leave Your mark, Let Them Bleed, Runic Binding, and Spread Them out

  3. Saturday, August 17th, Off the Wall Games (41 Russell St, Hadley, MA) and The 131 Gaming club will be hosting our first tournament for the new edition!

The tournament will be played at 50 stones, with a single declared faction. As there is no current Gaining Grounds, I will be randomizing the strats/schemes/deployments for each round.

Registration begins at 11 am, with cards flipping in round 1 at Noon. Each round will be 2 hours, with 15 mins allowed for crew selection, and will consist of 3 rounds. Entry is $15, and will include a pizza lunch, and everything left over will be go towards the prize pool.
  4. Can Reva use her Strength of the Fallen ability to take actions through Mindless Zombies? Mindless Zombies state they can be used as a Corpse Marker for actions from friendly models, but Strength of the Fallen is an ability, not an action. However, the ability is what allows her to use actions through corpse markers. I can see both sides of the argument, and feel it's a little ambiguous in this scenario.
