  1. The Breach mobile AP have a crew creator. No wave 3 stuff yet, but easy to just "proxy" the pay for a model though. Definitely worth a look.

The Breach is not available any longer for Apple devices though. However the creator is working on aa version 2.0 that will be released (hhopefully) soon. Due to the way Apple's ap store works it will be available for Android sooner than Apple but it is coming. There is a running thread in this forum sub-section dealing with this.

  2. Yes, thank you so much for this, I am a new player and am so jealous of my more experienced friends who have the ap. I can't wait until it is available. As others have said I would fully be willing to pay for the service it is great from what I've seen and I look forward to seeing the new version.

  3. I don't really move mortimer or nico that much. I use the vulture to position corpse markers where I want them. Mortimer just brings in 2 corpse markers a turn right where he starts the game at for me till turn 3. Turn 4 depending on number of corpse markers available and the status of the game he may do something different. Melee 7 is a thing, and something my opponents don't realize he has since I usually just have him back making corpse markers.

I run a podcast and some of my earlier episodes I discuss some specific lists I use with nico. It looks like episodes 2, 8, and 13 all relate to nico in some form or another.  I also will paste in a youtube vassal game i played with nico against hoffman and it is a good representation of how I play Nico. Just mind a few adult words from my opponent.

When I look at your podcasts the oldest available is episode 31. Is there somewhere we can view those older Nico episodes?

  4. I knew Yu had good utility reading his stuff; after fielding him the last couple of games though, he has surpassed anything I thought. That wk7 gives him great mobility, and whether it is pushing your own guys, scheme markers, or disrupting the opponent by pushing his men out of position, Sensei Yu has become pretty much an auto-include for me at this point. If only I could give him fast somehow so that I could walk and double push in a turn.

  5. ... Also, check out the schemes & stones podcast who did a whole hour+ long show on talking about Yan Lo and how to use him. It will help you out. And as many here have said, you will hear the same thing there - you are running too many ancestors. Yan Lo + 1-2 ancestors (generally 2), and then add in what is needed from there.

  6. Well, #1 thing I'd say is that going Full Ancestors is a bad idea most of the time. I find myself rarely taking more than two. The trick with Yan Lo, in 10 Thunders anyway, is to Lightning Dance a lot. Put enemy models next to either Izamu or Yin to lock them down/hurt them. Put them next to somebody out of the way to prevent them from scoring or shooting. Leave Yan Lo next to two or three enemies to maximize Misdirection. Put an enemy Master/Henchman (especially one who's already activated) next to The Lone Swordsman and let him crush them. Just spend as many AP as seems reasonable on Lightning Dance. That's the only way I've found Yan Lo really works for me.

All of this, and I can add bring Toshiro and 1-2 punk zombies, take that enemy you need to get rid of, lightning dance him next to the punks, have toshiro (and/or Yu) give out fast to the zombies, and watch them blender whatever it is. 4 attacks each on double positive flips.

  7. I do have some GW paints, but mostly I only use them for their washes, which are excellent. Otherwise their paints aren't bad, but not my favorite either, and they are definately overpriced. Actual paints Vallejo are wonderful paints, and I also quite like some of the P3 paints. I use the P3 primers, and especially their blues are great to me, but some other hues as well.

  8. So, here is what I have now with my recent purchases:

    Misaki and crew

    10T brothers

    Izamu

    Yamaziko

    Dawn Serpent

    Katanaka Snipers

I know that lists need to tailor to the mission and all, but just thinking of an all-arounder kind of list and/or a more killy one, how does this look?

    50ss

Misaki (stalking bisento, smoke and mirrors and recalled training)

    Izamu

    Dawn Serpent

    Yamaziko

    Katanaka Sniper

    Torakage

    Torakage

Too few bodies? Improvements anyone? Thanks for the continued feedback!

  9. So, I am just starting out in my Malifaux adventure. I played a game with a friend's crew, and I have decided to jump into 10T as my army. Here is what I picked up with my initial purchase(s):

    Misaki's crew

    10 Thunders brothers

    Izamu the Armor

I've heard that the brothers are good for scheme running, and I just love the look of Misaki and her crew. I figure Izamu serves as a pretty good tank. If we rule out other masters boxes for things like Sensei Yu, what would be the best next purchases for me? Thanks for any input!!

  10. When is the webstore going to be back up? I'm a new player, and there are alot of items I need and can't find on ebay or at my FLGS and I have been sitting here for what seems like 2 weeks desperate to give my money away on the things I need but the damn store is still down ...

  11. So, I have been eyeing stepping into Malifaux for awhile, and really struggling with where to start, Arcanists vs 10 Thunders. Originally I really thought I would start with Rasputina, but ultimately what drew me was the 10T look and fluff. Mei Feng and Misaki both really drew me; ultimately I chose to start by picking up Misaki's box, but I'm not real sure where to go from there.

What models pair well with her, what boxes/items should I ideally look at to start with adding from there? Thanks for any feedback, it is appreciated!
