Surely the buried Papa is largely useless against Ressurectionists? They normally have Hard to wound, so you'll still be a negative damage flips.

Hard to wound is one thing me being can to your df4-5 is another. Burn those high cards. Cause I won't need to.

Also hard to wound or not. If I drop papa out of his box near your models. He is going to companion detonate and kill your h2w models.

If playing against kirai or spirit Molly that really don't have hard to wound papa is still viable. Shooting at toshio is generally not the best plan cause 2 damage is chumpy. But rest of the crew. Lose all your high cards then no summoning no saving other models to duels. Etc

So yes papa in a box still is effective to ressers. Pineboxing things like Izamu and other bitty things is the way to go.

This game gives you free knowledge of the game board. It wants you to play and make good choices. So if you can't place the bigger model next to the scheme well at least you got a scheme marker. If you can't place lucious next to the model. Well at least you got a scheme marker. You did that part of the action.

If Colette can't be placed anywhere within 6" uhh what kind of scenario is that possible. She can be placed on roof tops through walls to fully encompass 7" bubble (her base remember just has to have a sliver to be within. Just in case you forgot "Mr rulebook") is impossible.

On death defying if you read it it says MAY be placed. So if you can't place it guess you are choosing not to since its a May.

As mention previously sidir is still the target. But if you can't place don't. Simple.

Sidir is easy since one effect is a place which if you can't do it don't. But he still is the target. Regardless of range and los.

Well things that say within don't need los. But pulses and auras do. Might strictly say models but I doubt a TO would say a pulse can effect things out of los.

The only thing I have had in Malifaux is typically when certain abilities are done at the end of turn. Example prowl with hunters is it before or after VP scoring. Even then it doesn't cause a game stopping debate.

It would be resolved in the upkeep step of end of turn phase. Then you check vp. Then end of game If applicable. Page 35 of big book lol.

Not sure how someone could debate it would happen after but I have seen stranger arguments.

You could also channel the actual (2) charge if you wanted. You can also channel walk actions and even focus Or defensive stance.

Why you ask well on the charge thing is so you can get a :+flip to what ever duel the opponent has when it's targeted (ie terror or manipulative.) The other ones meh no reason.

That Last word instead means you are taking the (1) Tactical Action.

Which melee expert can not be used to take Tactical actions.

This is an ability forcing you to take an action. Not an action causing action. So no rules really support well anything.

Does it overrule melee expert? Does the action just fail Do to

What if I use melee/casting expert , nimble. And fail. It's not one of those so is ap wasted.

How bout (0) actions. If I used all my general ap. Try my 0 and fail and now don't have the ap for on the house.

Do I get to keep trying my 0 till I get it?

1. Declare Action and Spend AP

The player begins an Action by announcing to her opponent what Action the model is taking. This is done for clarity, and because some models might react to certain Actions. The most common reaction is a disengaging strike, which will prevent a model from moving out of engagement range.

The model also spends the AP required to perform the declared Action. If the model does not have enough AP required for the Action, no AP are spent and the Action is ended without any further effect.

The model also declares any variable in the Action. This depends on the Action, as some Actions have different variables, or affect multiple targets.

It is during this step that the model declares a target. Unless specified by the Action, the target must be in range, and the model must have Line of Sight to the target. Line of Sight (LoS) and Range are discussed further on page 40.

Yes you did step 1 for the original action. For instance if you declared a walk action Which would happen first a disengaging strike or drinking contest.

You still have to declare what action you are taking in this case you only get the choice of (1) on the house. Step 1 declare x fail duel. Step one declare on the house.

For instance how would you resolve if for some reason Jack daw had a curse on his own model that when ever a tactical action is Declared takes damage. (Drowning?) Declares the attack fails the wp duel. Now declares a tactical action (1) on the house. Takes damage etc.

Easily resolved: you don't declare the On the House action as a result of Drinking Contest. You declare the action you want to take, make the test, then perform either the action you declared or the On the House action based on the result..

Sadly not true. When it says take the (1) on the house action you have to follow the steps of taking an action. Which step 1 is declare the action choose target etc. No ap is spent but the original action still never happens.

Charge Actions each attack action generated has to be declared. Same with any onslaught like triggers.

Would like to point out you can't use Thunder with the stalked condition. Or you can but stalking bisento specifically says bisento attacks. Not cool blasts attack.
