As the topic states,i'm a newer player and i've had 2 very fun games against a local player, winning and losing once. I started with Perditia(lost) and then went with the Viks(won), and as stated i thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Now comes my problem. I've bought a few more crews because i liked the looks of them(Raspy,Leveticus,Yan Lo) but they just aren't what i want to play unless I do some major restructuring. So i guess my question is this:Based on the fun I had with Perditia and the Viks, any suggestions on crews and reasons why?
Also..i'm placing the idea I have for 2 crews below(and why i'm building them that way)...so any suggestions or comments on them is appreciated.
Neverborn 40SS
Lilith -- 7 Pool
+Beckon Malifaux [1]
+Living Blade [2]
+Wicked Mistress [1]
Cherub [3]
Barbaros [10]
+Nephilim Gladiatus [1]
Waldgeist [6]
Waldgeist [6]
Waldgeist [6]
Why: Lillith seems as if she's a good beatstick in one on one fights with some great board control abilities, and Barbaros seems to be a slightly more melee focused version of her. The Waldgeists look pretty solid for their price and honestly, i don't like the Terror Tots models.
Resurrectionists 50SS
Dr. Douglas McMourning -- 7 Pool
+Evidence Tampering [2]
+Moonlighting [1]
+Spare Parts [2]
Graveyard Spirit [3]
Nurse [5]
Nurse [5]
Student of Steel [7] or Sinew[7
Student of Viscera [8]
The Valedictorain [10]
+Decaying Aura [2]
Why: With this build,i'll be using the Nurses to support McMourning as he does his melee/poison thing. The Valedictorian seems to be a very versatile henchman(henchzombie??) and with most faction's seeming to have either a good amount of living models and a bit of armor, the 2 students will be making short work of them and providing corpses for Flesh Construct and Guild Autopsy summoning, though the Student of Sinew is a good switch if i'm fighting a Resser or Leveticus crew.
That's my ideas.....so let me know what you guys think.
