May I say I'd disagree. I would like it to track damage and leave it to the players or TOs if they want to allow play entirely from the app or require cards on the table.

Edit:  On second thought, I just checked and the version from Wyrd's website was 1.7.  Vassal is still hosting an older version. 

I'm not sure if it would be okay to upload the newer version to VassalEngine.org...

1.7 is up on the Vassal website now.
