The Malifaux Child's Just Like You action allows it to take a 1ap Ca action belonging to a friendly master. It doesn't say that it cannot declare triggers.

if it casts Mei Feng's Railwaker action it has the trigger Express Line which states "after succeeding take a Railwalker or Jackhammer Kick action" does this mean the child can Railwalk then use the trigger to make a Jackhammer Kick?

I had an interesting discussion elsewhere regarding this and I'm keen to see if there is an official take on it. I believe the trigger allows the child to Jackhammer Kick but someone else felt that it shouldn't be allowed as its not an action the child could normally take.

Now I'm a Very Grumpy Teddy! I only placed an order for the Widow Weaver and bought other bits and pieces to make it worthwhile for international shipping costs. I could have bought the other stuff in the UK and saved myself money. Meh!

Here's the latest addition to my crew, my poltergeist. I wanted it to look eerie and out of place compared to the miniatures painted using regular techniques so I experimented with a photo negative effect and added a glow to the base. I'm going to use the same effect on my Sorrows so I'm keen to hear any comments or critique to help improve the technique so by all means let me know what you think.

She is quite light. I sculpted my own base out of putty and pressed the feet in slightly whilst it was curing. Once fully cured I took candy out the. Glued her back in place with superglue.

Hi Guys, I've only just recently gotten into Malifaux but I've certainly caught the bug! I'm currently working away on my first crew which is the No Shelter Here box and Teddy and just wanted to share my work so far. I'd normally take longer on the individual minis but I'm so keen to start playing I've been rushing with them. (Tsk, Tsk! Naughty Big Dog!  )

I painted Baby Kade and initially had gold pins on the teddy with him but I felt it was too warm a colour for the desaturated palette on the rest of the mini and a little jarring so I went with silver. Still not sure whether to leave them metallic or repaint the pins and blade in NMM.

Teddy is mostly done but I do have a bit of work to do on his base yet.

I'm planning to add some dead leaves to the bases to break up the grey and add a little variety in texture.

I'll post more up as I do them but any comments and critique would be greatly appreciated.

Although she doesn't boost her crew, is there anything her crew can do for her?

If what your saying is right, then Misaki has very little inter-model synergy with any of the other minis in her crew? They're both badass but I think what I'll is start with the misaki box and expand the crew as the new plastics come out and pick up Mei Feng later on.

Due to rampant hobby addiction I will eventually try to pick up everything in the faction.

Better get some more painting commissions in to feed my habit!

I tend to favour a fast, aggressive playstyle but I like to have plenty of tricks, manouverabilitty and misdirection abilities too. I'm new to Malifaux but have Pandora and Rasputinas starter kits at the moment. However going with the rule of cool, I'm really liking the eastern theme of the TT crews.

Hi guys, I'm a new Malifaux player lookng to start a Ten Thunders crew. The downside is, I can't make my mind up whether to go with Misaki or Mei Feng. So I'm looking for ideas.

Which master would you choose and why?

If you were going for a TT crew with them what minis would you include?

If you were going for their alternate faction what minis and upgrades would you choose?

Are there any tricks that work particularly well with them and their crews?

I only played my first game last night but I've definately got the bug and I'm keen to pick up a TT crew as my primary choice.

Thanks Betterthenlife. I'll have a look at the insidious madnesses next. I haven't even played my first game yet as I won't put unpainted minis on the table although I have a friend who's just as keen to play.

looks like my main opponent will be playing using Nicodem and Yan Lo as his main crews. Is there anything specific which will work well against them?

Still new to Malifaux but its Pandora for me. I was looking for a master that required a bit of creative play and good tactics to get the most out of and I think she's just the ticket.

I love The Dreamer/Lord Chompy Bits and the new plastic crew box looks great. He's definately next on my list.

And although he's not a master, TEDDY! Just because , well . . . TEDDY!

Hi guys, I'm a total newbie to Malifaux but I'm definately hooked already.

I've picked up the 2nd edition core rulebook, the Pandora plastic crew box, a teddy (just couldn't help myself ) and a box of beckoners.

The question is, what do I buy myself next? Are there any other good minis which will synergise well with Pandora and her crew? Alternatively is there anything that I have which would work with another master, thereby justifying an additional starter crew box?

I saw Gmorts unboxing of the dreamer box set, does this have a release date yet?

like I said I'm a total newbir, but its not a hobby its an addiction!

I've just had my Pandora starter box arrive in the post. I was intending to sculpt the bases with a 'victoria street' theme and pin the minis to the bases, however Candy's legs are very very thin,too thin to pin and because there's not much in the way of surface area on the feet, I'm concerned that superglue won't hold her once the base is built and painted. Has anyone had this problem or am I just stressing about nothing?

I've actually bought the Pandora No Shelter Here starter box and Teddy to begin with. I don't know if Pandora is quite as tactical as Lilith but I just couldn't pass up on Teddy and felt he worked a bit better on Pandora's crew with Baby Kade.

However, I'm sure it will just be a matter of time before I get the other Neverborn starter boxes.

I think growing Nephilim sounds like fun. Ita more expensive than buying Teddy but he can come later. So Lilith starter crew and a box of Nephilim to start. I can always pick up other minis later on. Thanks again guys!

I think Lilith's crew box will be where I start, with the addition of Teddy! She seems a little more flexible than Pandora to begin with and after having a look at Pull My Finger wiki, I like the idea of setting ambushes and manipulating my opponents crew into poor positions. Would the Nephilim box with 2 young and a mature Nephilim be a better initial investment afyer the crew box than Teddy?

I know what's going to happen, I'll start off picking up a starter box and Teddy, then after a wee while my plastic-crack addiction will kick in and I'll end up buying most of everything for Neverborn and half the other factions despite my best efforts not to get carried away. Its not a hobby its an addiction. An addiction with brilliant, fantastically detailed minis!

Hmm, the Dreamer sounds like the one for me but I'll wait for him in plastic. I'll spend more time looking at the Lileth and Pandora starter sets. I am a huge fan of Teddy and I see that Pandora has Baby Kade which should give some good synergy. Does the Lileth box have anything which works well with Teddy?
