Very fast list as already mentioned.

I find Lilith has some "glass cannon" models in her crew box but that makes for a more tactical game!

She will pretty much sit anyone down but that makes her a target.

Anyways. Welcome back

Ressers tend to take a lot of killing with negative flips to damage and hard to kill frequently in their model rules.

On the other side they tend to have low defence.

All factions have a good balance of ability etc.

General advice: pick the models you like best

As above really mate.

Think of them as extra bit of crew creation possibilities for certain masters etc.

don't worry about them too much unless your using masters as mentioned above

Brilliant! What crews do you play mate?

I did the stubble by building up the shadow with glazes then used a glaze of dark sea blue. It ended up heavier on one side a bit by happy accident. The rest of the skin was done with glazing too. First time I've tried that much skin on a mini and graves is pretty big too. So far I've only tried a couple of faces but I'm fairly happy with how he's looking. Still learning and need a lot more practice though so if anyone has some advice I'd appreciate it.

Couldn't point a flaw out mate it looks great.

Do you use an airbrush for skin? I'm guessing you have one with the pre shading on the darkness.

Hopefully a fast intro... I'm 31 from Sheffield, England, and have become a first-time dad 3wks ago 

 

I'm pretty new to tabletop games in general having only been playing 40k since last year with the help of my brother-in-law (he's also going to get into Malifaux - going for Viktorias).

 

I've been out on my lunch break today and bought my first lot of Malifaux I've gone for Nicodem (the Open Grave box which I've heard is the new box set), the small rulebook and a fate deck so I can hopefully start soon.

 

I'm looking forward to getting into a game which looks so awesome with pretty much everyone saying how fab it is to play also, the community on here looks pretty ace and seems quite accepting to the new bloods/newbies
