I think we have a pretty good setup, and it didn't cost me a fortune. I wanted to make a graveyard table (for my man Nicodem)
 
A patient man can find a lot of these on ebay for a steal too. Alternatively use something like spikeybits or warstore so you're consolidating shipping costs and can get items from multiple vendors through them at a discount anyway.

• I bought 2x4s from home depot, L brackets, and a piece of MDF that had them cut for a 3x3 table and I screwed it together at home
• I got a battle matt from Zuzzy (takes a while, it's just one guy, but great product at a great cost) http://www.zuzzy.com/ which I white glued down to the mdf
• Got the Garden of Morr from GW. 50 is a lot, but you can find it 20% off or more, and it's a LOT of terrain when you spread it out. http://www.games-workshop.com/en-US/Garden-of-Morr

• Renedra makes hands down the most versatile gravestones, (I used maybe half so far if that including some for bases) and other little bits like crates and barrels. I'm interested in the farm house they have too - http://www.renedra.co.uk/webstore.html
• I got woodland scenics tree bases to use as dead trees for like $5 on ebay. I mounted these on cardboard (would use plasticard if I did it again) just like the tomb stones. I used extra cutoffs from the zuzzy matt for the basing so they matched perfect. I didn't glue the tree stems into the base so you can take them all out and put models in.

I have thought about the pegasus temple too, the smaller one.

I'll trade my over-sized ronin/ash for models or $$$ as soon as I get the new ones. If anyone wants em, message and lemme know. 

Ashes and the three ronin are oversized, and Taelor, the student, and Blood are all regular right? My Ashes and ronin all tower over my other M2E plastics haha.

Brass arachnid has to be oversized right? He's almost larger than Howard Langston but is height 1?

I love the models, but would like the correct scales because it adds a touch of realism so I'll definitely do that trade in.
