  1. If Kaeris is a Master that would be great as the whole Ramos crew was built around Kaeris, so that's good news, and will allow me to make the crew fit her better when her rules come out. So that's actually a positive change, and means I can wait on my Arcanists crew. As to the schemes and everything, I have not specifically examined them straight on. In essence each crew is highly focused and performs a job well. The outcast crew isolates and eliminates so they are ideal for killing schemes like assassinate etc. The Pandora crew is probably the most effective all around since it has decent damage output and staying ability combined with Fugue State (I think that's the one, makes things Insignificant?) which is pretty much game for any interact based objectives. It's what I do, which has its ups and downs. Like how I mapped out my Guild crew around Lady Justice. I actually really like the Sonnia Crid model, but since I found Kaeris and really like her, the idea of a Kaeris burning focus crew and a Sonnia Crid one seems like major redundancy :-\ .
  2. I was shown 2nd edition so that was my target version. And I am aware that Insidious Madness, Kaeris, Guardian, Guild Hound, and Mobile Toolkit are in the rising powers and have not been updated. I am content to use them in their old form (if that's still permitted) until they are brought in line and then just hope and prey that their mechanic and costs are still vaguely inline with the previous version.
  3. Hello everyone, I am a new blood to Malifaux and am toying with a couple different crews so thought I'd post the general gist and see what kind of feedback I get. Keep in mind I've only actually played 1 game, but have done a bunch of reading. I built them all around 50ss, with the idea that I can always cut down to smaller crews if I need to 1) Outcasts Viktorias Student of Conflict Taelor Roninx3 Oiranx2 Freikorps Librarian So the jist here is to limit the enemies melee targets to the people I want them near, since the Ronin and Oiran cannot be charged, and use the Oiran to pull in anyone that doesn't want to come play in close range with the Viktorias, while using the Librarian to take advantage of Fates Entwined and heal both the Viktorias steadily. 2) Arcanists Ramos Mobile Toolkit Kaeris Joss Metal Gaminx2 Rail Golem Soulstone Miner So here I was thinking that Joss, the Gamin and the Golem go out into the enemy and do their best to tear them up and place burning counters, and Kaeris also places burning counters. Then Joss' creation of scrap markers lets Ramos make Electrical Creations that Kaeris can then blow up in the enemies faces, as she continues to add burning counters and then accelerate. 3) Neverborn Pandora Poltergeist Candy Doppleganger Sorrowx3 Insidious Madness Beckonerx2 This is just maximizing the WP duels and extra effects. Trying to maximize targets, damage redirection and mitigation, and make the enemy tear themselves apart. 4) Guild Lady Justice Governor's Proxy Judge Guild Houndx4 Peacekeeper Guardian So the Hounds work as a team to come at the enemy and present a nasty threat while the Guardian sticks with Lady Justice to make her tougher, allowing her to get in close, and the Peacekeeper can drag enemies towards the hound. So those are my theories thus far (I didn't list the upgrades but almost all of those lists have 9-16ss left over for upgrades and purchasing of extra soulstones if it's at 50ss).
