Wings on the wind pushes models 4" and Mr Graves show you the door pushes 6"
Oiran lure isn't practical due to suit dependency.
-
Gangs of New York mostly because of the period setting and every 2nd person looking like a Belle or Nicodem.

The Hunter is exceptional, a major improvement on the clunky metal one. The Watcher is ok, not much different from the metal and Ryle looks ok, just the mask like Clockwork said isn't great. The crazy face on the original should have been carried over.
-
You need to click on the link then on the pic inside the link a couple of times. The hunter looks awesome.

Will do my best to make the 2nd box look different and likely model something to represent each of the 3 upgrade planes. I'm sure they will be jumping to the front of the painting cue.

Not correct, they are not rare. Only need the 2 boxes for 6 and Misaki's going to be the 7th. Would exceed 50ss otherwise.
-
Super exited about these guys. Getting 2 boxes for a 7 samurai themed Misaki crew.

Plastic sleeves seem over the top. Decks are inexpensive, if it somehow manages to ruin simply buy another and save the hassle of sleeves.

I'm neutral. I would love a way to narratively
Link the games together, but I really do not like systems where people who win just keep getting the advantages that let them keep winning. And giving buffs that thrn cost additional ss doesn't work too well because what is costed fairly for one model might not be for another.
Case in point Molly's tear of the gorgon upgrade which gives her a 0 action for 12 terror all and instinctual costs 3 stones, whereas lilith's beckon MALIFAUX gives her her tree summon ability and gives her instinctual. Lilith's is clearly way better, but only costs 1, while Molly's costs 3. I assume this is because the developers felt that Molly's 0 actions were stronger, but it illustrates that benefits in this game are going to be costed differently depending on who uses it.
I would love a system which allows fights over control if the city, with special rules regarding terrain and set up, and for control of the city to fluctuate, but I would be leery of ANY form of advancement system.
Fetid makes excellent points on keeping it fair though i would not seek to altogether exclude advancement where rules could be in place for re-balancing/handicapping.

Not to discount the OP but in the year that I have predominately been running Mei I havent found need for dedicated ranged attacks for her. I would consider Hans for support or the Freikorps trapper but I have never once felt I need a ranged element in her crew.
I find if facing constructs that having Magnetism from Metal Gamin gives me some ranged game.
Mei defiantly doesn't need ranged models to work though ranged opens up different play styles with her.

Lazarus hands down is the best shooter for Mei.
1. He is a self-repairing construct.
2. He is a self-reparing construct.
3. With Recalled Training he can auto fire blasts all over your enemies extremely well.
4. If you have Toshiro, the Emberling can charge Laz and make scrap for Komainu.
5. He is a self-repairing construct.

Has there been any news of late on the release of the wave 2 decks, i've seen M2E wave 2 plastics at my LGS which i assume contain wave 2 cards.
-
Is there a chance the Samurai will be released at Gen Con?
-
2 Mulligans never occurred to me until i read this post, very glad it came up.
-
Toshiro should be able to take Corpse Bloat but it doesn't come up as an option.
-
The Df4 is poor, though if your using Mei it can be bumped to 6 with a Metal Gamin and she would make a useful bodyguard for Fuhatsu.
-
I'd be inclined to test all 3 in a crew especially in a Turf War. The movement Samurai scheming, the firebase shooting and the Samurai with the extra wounds firing also with a Wastrel or Chiaki nearby in case he misses.
-
Even at 7ss with a 1ss upgrade i'd prefer the Samurai.
I probably should have been clearer when stating they are better at melee than a gunslinger. With 8 wounds the slinger has 2 extra but 2 hits in melee of 4dmg will take him out whereas the Samurai will still have 2 wounds remaining.
-
Are the Samurai's upgrades all rare 1?
They were in the beta so i would say yes.

Something i want to but am yet to try out is running her with alongside another terrifying model and use promising whisper to make the enemy model test for terrifying and cheat down the test if the flip passes then use devour on it.
