I've been happy with all the plastics so far, detail shallow on some parts but there is a bit less exageration with proportion. imagine the rail worker in metal, his arm toold would be triple in thickness, plastic brings a bit more scale in. McCabe s whip should be coiled and in hand not some thin outstretched hope it doesn't break plastic

Maybe look in other ranges on eBay for bits gene stealer tyranid skaven tails or find a co gamer that can sculpt

Alright,.. here's a picture of my Wong, for your viewing pleasure. (don't get to say that too often *grin*)

It still seems a bit "flat" to me. I could use some more highlights on the edges of the robes I suppose. But it still seems to need something more to break up the blue. I was thinking some kind of moon and/or star patterns maybe? Or maybe some runes,.. but the question is, what color? white? gold?,... thoughts???

it appears flat because the large blue area doesn't have a huge gradient to the high light, paint him navy blue and work up from there also with him being green try a dark purple or maroon and maybe paint his hat a different color. the matching "mom brought back from the mall" hat and robe "outfit" is too much space for one color

I sculpt alot and have had several distributed releases in the resin kit industry, I am up for a challenge!

One thing I'd like to see particularly attended to is a slight shift in aesthetics for 10 Thunders, should any new models be introduced for them. The initial 10T models I had seen (before 10T was a thing) tended to show a lot of Chinese influence, but the vast majority I had seen in Storm of Shadows felt heavily Japanese. I know that the faction is a blend of the whole region, but it sometimes feels like the Japanese aesthetic is overwhelming the Chinese aesthetic.

I don't think the Japanese aesthetic overwhelms in 10T heck the Yan Lo and Mei Feng/Kang soul porter and Yin are all non Japanese. the minions for the most part except the archers are Japanese however in look, armor and name.

I dont think plastic is bad at all, wyrd has all my attention now that the mini sculpts are so much better.

the plastic market on ebay(yeah I know) is huge, look up warhammer bitz and the result is in the near thousand marker. As a community I am certain we shall find coplayers or at worst ebay, to sell off that extra clockwork trap or gamin, wait and see and reach out to fellow players, why not split the purchase?

Malifaux is one of the few table top games you get alot for your buck, so crying about 21 dollars and not using a model, we still win as a community malifaux is still the best deal going!

Ok a serious reply, look, when malifaux first came out, i wasnt on board at all. I missed Mordhiem and needed a tactics game. The "want this to be cute" and "busty badass" is great for an eye catcher. But play mechanics are important, and the slob that was all gooey over some snow cats, was trying to get an "awww cute" from the gal next to him. Its more about look at this and "do you get it?" way after the punchline.

well it gave me a bad feeling, serious like "what would cthulhu do" and "pokethulhu" tshirts, its not nerdy or brilliant. Its dim, droll, gimmicky and overall in poor taste.

the material thats been coming out over the last 8 months is quality, yeah I recognized that and thats why I just got on board. The new teams, new sculpts and options dont insult my intelligence or social grace. Good job Wyrd.

I think you'll see some Male sculpts coming soon that impress, I dont care what or who leads my team, the new work wyrd put in is something to admire.

I'm not trying to offend anyone but the game/comic/scifi/steampunk/lovecraft scene is full of things that detract from the spirit of the game. Forget the gender distractions, rather, punch the sour slob that needs more recognition in his life so he buys a XXL cute doll shirt.

Im in austin and i bought two crews and i have a few friends, conceptually if you buy the book abd want the game get another crew and invite, you will waste alot of time waiting for a buddy to buy and paint a crew, promote it for yourself and it works out great, good luck in san antonio man!

ok about to buy a crew, as I choose the Guild and the Master is Lucius can I pick any Guild faction models that I like, mind you they are not Masters

so if I wanted all riflemen and dogs could I do so as the crew creator on this web site was pretty limiting, could I add a construct?
