Hey guys, I have the Beta and so on, but still fairly new. Just spotted the new crew artwork on BoW and had a minor stroke, Heart not manhood style.
I am just wondering before I get my hopes up, are these models going to be reboxes or entirely new sculpts?? As in the past the models look identical to the artwork ish.
I only quickly googled it but have come here for the pro advice.

hey gang, just a couple of quick ones after my first game:
With Jakob lynch's crew, does brilliance last for the encounter or just until the closing phase?
do totems die after the master dies (this game went very well for me obviously )
do you only get one chance at cheating fate? as in 'i cheat for 11' my oppnent 'flips-cheats to 12'- can i then cheat again? or just use SS?
oh and i cant seem to find teh rules for 'reckless' anywhere?
Any help greatly appreciated guys!

Jacob was the easiest model i have ever painted- i sprayed all of these barring HD with a desert khaki krylon spray, usually reserved for my rifles, i then covered his flames and skin in blue glaze, and his clothes and skeleton in devlan mud. highlight and done. in fact the suit has not been touched, just devlan mud over khaki spray. same as the illuminated dress and trousers.
thanks for the compliments, I love the arms on HD just adds an extra raaaa factor.

Hey guys, just started MF. just thought i would post my current (and first) Crew, all painted last night. Its the Jakob boxed set, although i removed the demon from one of the Illuminated as i thought 'Huggy D' needed some arms to look scarier. I don't profess to be a 'great' painter but i love doing it. these models have taught me alot already, i am used to doing neat flat things and as u can see on the illuminated i went fully 'gribbly' and i am currently just waiting for some of that nice clear red stuff to finish the blood. I did them all gorey as i like the imagery of the mutations bursting from them. Kind of like the movie 'dusk til dawn' where everyone gets in the bar and then all hell breaks loose. Anyways here they are, be gentle
also i am not the best photographer, the thing in the background is my chopping board lol. after looking at the pics I realize they look worse than in the flesh! either way....here they are!

nice, good blend from black to red!

being new to the game (be gentle) i have also got this boxed set inbound, by saying 'heresy' to take a punk zomb is that because it detracts from the Japanese theme? If so cant you sort of just make a themed punk zombie? sorry if im reading this wrong. but having read this, i too am a 'fluff/theme' player but i also like to win, and that zombie combo thingy seems nice!

thanks mate, i have the errata and faq, just need to print them and staple them into the book. or to be honest i will just go through and highlighter the poo out of it.

as far as i have read around, we need to download the 'errata' thingy from the MF website for any rules changes. Also read that much of the '.5' was extra back story and fluff. may be wrong though, can anyone confirm>?

Hello!
SO i and a few friends have taken the plunge and are hitting malifaux after a few campaigns of Infinity got us hooked on skirmish games. I have a trillion questions but this is not the place. Barring one:
I have the large paperback rule book, it is not the '1.5' version. Is this still viable? After comparing to the online DL rules most things seem the same?
Hope to enjoy my stay here, and happy gaming/ painting all.
JJ
M2E models, noob question.
