  1. I've only come against Ulix a couple of times, so my counter-master advice is limited. But I agree with Tris that show of force is what immediately jumps out at me. I would consider it with ETL. Perhaps something like this:

     

    Perdita (2SS Cache)

    - Trick Shooting (2SS)

     

    Enslaved Nephlim (3SS)

     

    Francisco (8SS)

    - Wade In (1SS)

     

    Peacekeeper (11SS)

    - Debt to the Guild (1SS)

     

    Abuela (7SS)

    - Debt to the Guild (1SS)

     

    Nino (7SS)

    - Hair Trigger (1SS)

     

    Papa Loco (7SS)

    - Debt to the Guild (1SS)

     

    With Abuela marrying in the Peacekeeper you have a pure family list. When paired with Nino this makes it difficult for your opponent to complete Claim Jump, Accusation and Set up without first dealing with your models. This is especially true if you can get Nino to a high perch. You have generally high damage dealers balanced across melee and range with moderate to high survivability. The downside is its running with little cache, which is risky with ETL in the pool. Depending on play style and terrain perhaps consider dropping the upgrade off of Nino and maybe Papa.

    I had the following list in mind, but would be interested if people see something that would work better.

     

    McCabe w/Promises, Glowing Sabre, Badge of Speed

    Guild Hound x2

    Francisco w/Wade In

    Pale Rider w/Expert Sluth

    Peacekeeper w/Expert Sluth

     

    My thought was Frame for Murder on a dog along with Show of Force. My worry is that my models with upgrades are going to want to be both inside and outside of the center, particularly if I can get the dog killed.

  3. Necromany! Bored at work and noticed no one mentioned McCabe. If you like stacking upgrades he can be regen2 armour2 and nimble whilst being pushed up to 12" first turn.

    Also Sidir with promises can make him move and hit like a freight train.

    I agree that McCabe and Ex should be fast friends but what pushes him 12" on the first turn? McCabe can only hand out 1 upgrade per turn (it's a zero action) which allows the 4" push.

  4. Hey everyone,

     

    I've downloaded the last couple of mod updates and I'm having the same problem with each of them. I load an encounter and select player one. My opponent then logs on and syncronizes with me. For some reason he also becomes player one and is able to see my cards. If he chooses to switch sides and become player two, I also become player 2 for some reason.

     

    I never had this problem before using the M2e mod. What am I missing? Thanks!

     

    EDIT: Problem solved. Seems it has something to do with our Vassal passwords. If he goes in and changes his password it works. Odd...

    What: We will be running a casual achievement-based tournament that will allow players to play at their own pace and get more familiar with the M2E rules and models. Having your own crews is not necessary as we'll have lots of extras on hand. The Strategies will be pre-determined and will all have a Halloween based theme. There will even be candy!
