  1. How was he as debuff/support piece?

Censure using the Restraining Order condition would be a great way to rip someone's hand apart in conjunction with Jury and Austringer. But the downside is that's a shit-ton of stones.

  2. I tried the Austringer/Jury combo in a Lucius crew against Reva. It really crippled my opponent to not be able to cheat fromantic turn two onwards. He is known to have great hands and seeing what he discarded made me giddy!

I also played it against Titania. My opponent was none to pleased.

I had a Rifleman in the crew, but I think I'll leave him in the box next time around.

  3. I'm probably too late for this.

A Miss model of Lucius, so I can finally have a model that fits me calling him Lucy. The dress would be similar to Widow Weaver's. The mask would only cover the eyes and forehead with the face being suitably horrifying. The mask would be handheld on a stem. Her other hand would be outstretched and pointing.

    Any thoughts on Lust?...

She's more expensive (Merc Tax), her (0) push is only 4", her damage track (weak, moderate) compared to Graves is laughable.

That's  not saying she's bad, by any stretch. It's that you have to build around her movement shenanigans more so than with Graves. To me she's not a direct trade out for Graves.

In a Pandy crew it helps a great deal to diversify your damage. If you get hard countered against your WP attacks (Von Schill, Marcus, Raspy) you'll be glad for the DF targeting actions in your crew. I'd be more willing to use Burt Jebson in place of Lust for that same reason. Of course those are 3 different models that do one thing similar to each other but do a secondary (or tertiary) thing much differently than the other two.

Lust has her place in a Pandy crew, the same way just about any other model does, it just depends on what you want the crew to do.

  5. I've only ever put Depression on Candy. Since she has no (0) actions it's perfect for her, since it allows her to hit her Wail trigger or get the Ram she needs to heal someone up. She also gets Fears Given Form. Have Pandy Incite a model and then have Candy move next to it. The next turn that Incited model is getting Paralyzed.

Depression can go on Kade to make sure he gets his Sweetbreads trigger off and really put the hurt on something.

Sorrows and Poltergeist are finesse pieces. They are usually best to activate late the turn before you turn Pandy loose on your opponent. They also complement a specific type of playstyle with Pandy. A playstyle most people don't play because it is easily stopped, due to Sorrow's and Poltergeist's fragility.

For Lures, I prefer Lilitu. Her Ca 7 allows you to have a good chance at Luring a master or Henchman. She also has Df 6 so she's a little harder to hit than a Beckoner who's real claim to defense is if the attacking model has Brilliance (a rare occurrence in a Pandy crew).

  6. As far as terrain is concerned there's always paper craft. Those are (usually) PDFs containing images of buildings that you print, glue to something sturdy (foam core being the most common), and put together. They're cheap, light weight, easy to put together (mostly), and look darn good.

There are many producers of this type of terrain. I'm on mobile and I can't paste links but I'll list some makers/key words for a Google search.

    Fat Dragon Terrain Sets

    Dave's Games

    Stones Edges

    And simply papercraft

  7. I like Doppelganger with Useless Duplications. Everyone will be bringing heavy hitters whose attacks you can copy. She's 7SS so your opponents will rarely get 3 points from her. You can cheat the initiative low to make sure her manipulative is always valid. Low cards have value because you can discard them to give your attacker a negative flip to melee attacks.

Mimic's Blessing is also a valid upgrade for defense. If Doppy does bite it there's some hand shaping you get to do.

    Another version of this trick:

Take bishop to your crew, throw curse on enemy model (Firing squad is the best for this), use Twist and Turn, attack bishop with ML and fail, bishop will hit enemy model back, moreover you have 2 additional damage from curse ;)

Keep in mind that Bishop's Df/Wp trigger is not an Attack Action, so it won't benefit from the +1 dmg from Firing Squad Injustice (the 2 damage from making an attack action while having FSI still happens). Don't forget that you can cheat the damage flip on Bishop's Df/Wp trigger.

  9. The Metal Gamin no longer have Hard to Kill and can't target Metal Gamin with their (0). They were errata'd earlier this year. Check out the FAQ. We have new Schemes for 2016 that are used is tournaments instead of the main Rule Book schemes. Depending on when you l as the played you might find that we also have new Strategies.

I would suggest the purchase of the M&SU box and make at least one Steam Arachnid Swarm.

  10. Perhaps talk to the Henchman that got you interested in the game in the first place, if of course that Henchman is still around.

Remember, a henchman signed up to be one and part of that is to help grow the player base. It's their "job" to teach people the game. If the henchman is offering a demo of the game and no one is interested that would be a perfect time to talk to him or her. Even if he/she isn't running a demo I'm sure  he/she would be willing to help you and maybe schedule a meet up with you to help you out.

Maybe even get in contact with the owner of the game store to get in contact with the henchman.

I hope you get to play and enjoy the game.

  11. If Wyrd needs more data, I suggest that Icemyn sweeps this year's big tourneys with those same two lists and players all over the country start playing those lists to win their local tourneys. I never thought I'd condone netlisting, but something needs to happen. That should give them enough data.

If Hamelin is dependent on this kind of tactic and the idea is to alter Rats and Wretches maybe add abilities to one of Hamelin's upgrade that ignores those alterations. It is a large amount of errata, but it could be an appropriate approach to fixing this issue. All this coming from an armchair game designer, so enjoy your grain (or stone) of salt.

  12. I'm in Florida (floriduh) so are these minis.

    I have F/S F/T:

    Female Gunsmith $13

    McTavish $25

    Watcher, metal $7.00

    Hunter, metal $7.00

    Tannen $7.00

    Gremlin fate deck

    2013 Adepticon Fate deck

    I want:

    Money is nice ;-)

Puppet Wars (the original version), or just the minis from it (I'll add if what I have isn't enough)

    Strongarm Suit

    Lazarus

    Guild Lawyer,plastic

    Guild Guard, metal

    Guild Riflemen, box

    Lone Marshall

Trixie Belle (fat chance I know!)

    TtB Hannah (even less likely)

    Graveyard Spirit, plastic

    Metal Gamin (2)

    Dawn Serpent

    Tara crew box

    Vanessa

    Master Po (http://www.bushido-thegame.com/catalog/master-po)

The fate decks are meant as trade fodder for the TtB Hannah, they are available for sale but since I want to keep them the price will be absurd.

The prices do not include shipping or the PayPal fee. The models can be in any condition, just let me know.

    (Edited wants)

  13. No, I just wanted to see how other people who play more often then I do test new models. I have this compulsion to change my crew up from game to game, which hasn't served me well. Zfiend I think your idea of dual executioners is hilarious! When I start playing McMourning as Guild I'll be sure to use that and a Nurse to hope them up on Uppers and later Hallucinogens.

  14. How do you go about testing out a new model in your crew? Do you wait until the right S&S pool presents itself? Just throw the model in despite the S&S pool? How many games do you play it?
Do you ever change multiple models?
    Assume the following when answering:
-you don't have the option to choose to play with the ideal S&S pool
-the model doesn't do what you planned it would the first game
-If changing multiple models, it's for a combo with those models

  15. Short answer:

Engaged models can attack each other as long as their target in is Ml range.

    Long answer:

A Charge is a (2) Tactical Action that causes 2 (1) Ml Attack Actions. In order to charge you:

    1) must not be engaged with any models (you cannot be engaged with friendly models so this implicitly means enemy models.)

    2) must have an Ml attack action.

    3) must end the move within Ml range of the target.

    4) must target the same enemy with each attack.

Pg 44 states how engagement effects models.

A model can only use Ml actions while it is engaged. So any models that are engaged can attack each other with Ml actions.

A model that is not engaged can make a charge action. A model that is engaged can not make a charge action unless it has an ability that let's it charge while engaged.

  16. I had this exact same crisis during last year's Gencon. I wasn't particularly interested in Zoraida and could've borrowed my friend's metal Juju. I was constantly back and forth between the crew box or just the Silurid box. I finally decided to buy the crew box, Juju's model is awesome, so is Zoraida's. I've used Juju in a Pandora crew and he was being a boss. I'm also a collector and like having all my tools available. I would suggest you buy the crew box, you could probably sell the Zoraida/Voodoo Doll to recoup some of your money, just leave them on sprue. You can do the same for Juju, but I enjoy the model and what he brings to the table.
