  1. Hi all. 

    Bit of a sticky topic at my local gaming place that i wasn't sure on.....  climbing things that aren't really that big, we used to say that a Ht 2 model going through a window that is 1 inch of the ground would loose an inch cause we classed anything like that as severe, so that models that ignored severe terrain could get a bit of a bonus ( we don't really have a lot of terrain that could be classed as severe) now i'm wondering what is classed as climbable and what isn't. The rules says Climbable terrain doesn't include things like stairs or slopes , but rather refers to terrain that requires some effort to scale.... So if a model is got to hop over something that is half it's HT like a window or small fence or platform is this classed as climbable terrain and therefore impose a penalty on everyone or should models that have a bonus over severe terrain get it over something like that, or should it just be ignored?   2. how is Francisco amazingly better than poor old sam.... Hehehe there stat lines are almost the same the only difference being Fran has a 2inch longer charge and his Ml is a 7 vs a 6..... they do different things.. (sam can go crazy if you keep him in a terrain heavy area with sonnia about, He turns into a witchling stalker making machine) but as things stand in the staying alive area they are the same...

  3. With the auto draw. Do you.have to flip a card before saying you want to dare the total... also I have another question. When you are effected by something that says you have neg for all Wp duels does this include static Checks like terror checks or harmless? Say a insidious madness puts up its neg flip bubble and then someone has to take a terror check against chompy it would be a neg? Please help

I really do understand your need to play narrative and theme before overall destructive capability and one of my strongest reasons for having Hamelin as my main Master is the fact he is still so strong, competitive and FUN, even I do play by theme. Just a question... Would Baby Kade fit your need as far a theme goes for one of Hamelin's lost children (I know strictly speaking he is in no way lost, I find those creepy eyes way to knowing) but I was just thinking that if ever the lost children needed a leader type..... well Baby Kade would suit.

    And he would be a great last line of defence for you with Hamelin in the sort of misaki game you were in, I've found that having one decent other Model with Hammy for the other master to deal with just gives him that much more of a chance to bang out another stolen and jump on the front foot again. Having lost my stolen to things like Archers and in particular the Austringer. This is a big help.

  5. I really can't wait to see what will happen with Nekima in 2.0

    I've always said she would be close to an auto include for me if she had use soulstones. I really do love her a lot. I think they will have to spend some time on Lilith, She holds her own little corner in malifaux with the Nephs but due to bein g a little straightforward I guess, she just gets left behind when people start looking for a bit of complexity in there game. God I do love her huge charge and big hits though. Can never get enough of that. :)

I would recommend a Panzer 38t or Panzer II. and would put its DF down to 2... or if not make it unable to be healed from someone else but maybe give it an all action to heal 4 Wds or something because really you would need an engineer or something to fix it. or even it can heal after an activation and then spends the next turn immobile. Good Idea though.

See this is where I find a Tot in my crew to be really handy I grow it first turn and then eat another dog second turn with melee expert and by the time Hammy is threatened I most of the time have my 3rd blood counter to mature him up and use him to body guard Hammy late game (or grab objectives as he has a great move) Love those tots with Hammy, use nix to turn the Matures Dm to 6 for weak and its a wrecking ball. As well as TF 12 which is something the rest of the crew can't bring.

  8. I do think Yin would go pretty good with Molly. I am heating up to the idea. Has anyone put a crew together with some dogs to sack early for Chi and then used them to summon with Molly. Would this be workable and would 2 be to many to hire just to kill then say summon Sybelle or a normal belle or even mollys totem? Can Yan get 4 Chis of 2 Dogs with his Spell? I haven't looked....

  9. How is Nico with a 3 Inch move getting close enough to Para someone first or second turn with 3 casts... And why would you let him? I just don't understand how Colette could be a cakewalk. She has so many tricks... have You ever played against Sonnia Criid with Jack Daw? That's a challenge for Nico

  10. I'm about to have a big 35SS game against Colette. Since I just picked up Yin and Toshiro I am thinking about running Yan Lo. So what is everyone ideas on crew selection for slaughter or movement type games. As well as what schemes everyone who plays him has been taking. Looking forward to giving him a roll. General thoughts for early mid and late game strats would be great... Thanks

  11. I'm a Lilith grow list player and i'm wondering what you consider to be slow to get up to speed. in a 35p game I almost always have 2 mature nephs out and on the move by turn 2 and Lilith is already out taking down anything that is fast enough to get to any objectives by turn 1/2.

    With nekima you can grow a tot with a 5 off anything so no matter what its going to happen card wise. she deals 4 wounds to herself to get a blood counter and then the tots kill a Desperate merc each for one and nekima get another 2 from the mercs dying with blood sense. So if the tots haven't grown in turn 1(which I always do but others sometimes don't because they might take 2 APs to kill the mercs) Nekima will be sitting pretty with 3 blood counters, kill her then and the crew loses the chance to produce matures in early game when they are needed. But killing nekima at this point is pretty hard.

    Best bet is taking out the master early and then waiting for then to disperse around the board and ganging up on the matures one at a time.
