I actually personally like the skull!
That said, interesting that you decided to assemble him without the coffin. I haven't attached the coffin to mine yet since I couldn't get it to sit anywhere I liked.

Line in the Sand isn't scored until the end of the encounter, on either scoring condition (at least 4 markers on line, at least 2 and announced).
That said, I too like necropunks more than dogs. For one more point you get a (theoretically) faster model with leap to ignore some terrain. Plus their combination of hard to kill and a self heal can be very annoying to the opponent who doesn't commit enough to bring one of them down.

Good morning, Malifaux.
I hate having to wake up an hour earlier than normal because my apartment wants to repave the parking lot. Boooo.
Oh well. I guess today we explore once more the wonders of caffeine.

And here I saw some early gremlins and was thinking the place really had gone to hell. But undead, no, those are totally fine!

Having faced the rail golem several times in M2e, I can say that so far I have never seen an issue with it running out of burning counters.
-
I am also somewhat hesitant about using a strategy that leaves my master (who really wants to be sort of in the thick of things for his buff auras) sitting back casting turn one instead of advancing.

Hopefully they won't make us wait too long for the new plastics, but I understand that stuff takes a while to work through.

I know a lot of people (myself included) are maybe most excited for Molly, of all the Ressers. Can't wait to see her as a full fledged master, since she was lacking a lot of options in 1.5.

As someone who is still pretty new to the hobby and entirely unfamiliar with airbrushes, where's a good place to start looking into them?

Welcome to Malifaux!
I think that of the three, Ramos is probably the simplest as well. Less different angles to play and manipulate than, say Zoraida. That said, none of them will be very difficult, so I'd go with whichever you think is coolest!

Heck, even in a crew that doesn't ruthlessly exploit poison, that poison 5 is as good as regen 1, and that plus hard to wound plus 13 wounds means that, even if they are easy to hit they take a LOT of ap expenditure to drop. If you can shove them up in your opponent's face they can run a lot of interference for the rest of your crew just because the opponent can't get rid of them by casually committing a single model in one activation.

Email sent. Thanks for doing the organizing! Though this thing already seems lousy with those noisy gremlins.

I'm probably gonna stick with counters for mine. That said, between all of my arsenal decks I ended up with a lot of extra and unused stat cards. I may wet erase test one later out of morbid curiosity.

In my personal experience with Hans so far, I haven't even bothered shooting off an upgrade. It just takes too much setup, and his point value is too high, and a lot of times the impact just wouldn't be enough. I like his Disarm trigger, and I think that inhibiting a major piece for a turn is probably just as big an impact or bigger than shooting off upgrades.

Yeah, the first part I notice is where it looks like Joss has steroids for blood.

We use a set of Streets, a set of Buildings, and two sets of clips. We're able to make a lot of interesting terrain very easily, though we ran low on clips when we tried to get ambitious. +1 on the "buy another set of clips" suggestion if you plan to build anything really grand in scale.

My guess is he's gonna be McMourning-like, in that he'll have (at least) one upgrade that's guild only, and (at least) one that's neverborn only.
I'm hoping he keeps the same level of ability to move around and order his crew, and that he can use it with Nephilim. As a major Lilith play and a huge fan of the Nephs, I'd love to be able to move some Young or Mature into striking position a little easier.

I'd definitely consider hiring one, for what it's worth. Activate it plus Magnetism from Ramos gives you scrap upfield to summon from turn one. A very fast start.
-
I'm not sure it's a super huge issue, being that Karina needs LOS for the aura to apply and is not exactly durable herself, but even a point swing here and there could be worth it. Still, I'm not sure she'd be the first 5 stone model I'd pick.

If I could find a NE Lady J box for a reasonable price I'd be all over it, but for now I'm "stuck" with the new DMs.

I am puzzled as to the new stuff. I can see clearing stock on the old stuff. Fortunately for my wallet half of what I wanted was out of stock.

I've been contemplating bringing Sebastian along with Tara, and using him to just throw dogs out every time something dies. I find in my games with Tara that a lot of things die on both sides of the board, so there's not gonna be a shortage of counters.
-
Another important distinction: dogs leave corpses. Wretches don't.

I won a set of these at gencon this year and I have to say they are fantastic.

What we ended up doing in my local was just, "she may reflip it once".
