Quick question, will masters be unique. As in a master may only be played by one person for this event? Secondly masters are unique/named so we have to pay to resurrect them for subsequent games?

There is a spare ticket, ie availability for 2 people to attend this as some of the Yorkfaux guys are unable to attend. So it will only be Nathan and myself (Shane) attending.

First of all the bad bit (I like to end on a good note) the bases, as a majority for me are a bit bland. Thats just my own personal preference though.

The good parts the colours are all really nicely chosen. Despite each model having different colours they all 'fit' as a crew and tie together really nicely. The wastrals are particularly nice. My favourite how ever has to be Luna. Great job.

I'm really liking the bleed out from the belles eyes looks disturbing. You were asking about some comments on the skin? I like the paleness you have achieved, to add a bit of depth try using a blue glaze in the recesses and then highlight the raised surfaces to the original flesh tone (could also be done with green or purple depending on the degree of decay your after)

An assault rifle cant be used to breach a door, a shot gun can. Both are tools in a sections arsenal and the best suited is chosen for the job at hand.

just like Yan lo. Sure there are times you will prefer other masters, but when facing 10T or outcasts and you are unsure of what opposition to expect he can be great being able to "adapt to the flow of battle"

plus I find him great fun and aesthetically pleasing:) also in a competitive situation people don't plan on seeing me Lo so may be unsure of what to expect?

I probably wont start playing him till I have the crew painted as I am still really enjoying ressers arm. But really like the models so no doubt ill put ressers on hold as soon as everything delivers lol

So I have just bought 2 starter boxes; Sommer and Ophelia, I also have burt and ama no zaka.

To play either of both of these crews to there full potential (competitively) what further investsments would be best made?

I was thinking something like a box of piglets and a box of bayou gremlins, although with my limited experience with these guys I don't know how id best go about spending my hard earned cash.

Datsue ba led spirit crew. She can heal friendly spirits with her seishin upgrade and push them around also. She has pretty decent range and melee attacks. Some decent triggers and incorporeal

Here is the copy cat killer, unfortunately i didnt have time to set up my camera or a back drop so a tea towel had to sufice lol. Ive gone for a wet look to have the little drain underneath him over flow. I need to get some sort of resin to make a few splashes like he is dancing in the rain. Anyone who has experience doing this your advice would be greatly apprichiated I also need to trim the grass slightly as its a bit long still.

@jonschill I disagree with (a) in certain circumstances. Taking the belle again for instance, the wording on the card is the model mist end its move as close to the belle as possible (or words to that effect) so by the ronin falling and then walking it will end up as close as possible, where as by climbing dwn the ronin will be at half movement.

The title says it all really, I'm looking for models (minions,enforcers & henchmen) that can heal them selves. I don't have my cards to hand but izamu is the only one, with autopsies and flesh constructs to a degree that spring to mind. Datsue ba could with seishin I suppose as well
that springs to mind.

Had my first game with resser Tara last night playing a gaining grounds strat. Collect the bounty versus Nicodem.

I managed to score only 1 vp on the strat and a full 6 for my schemes. My opponent only scoring 3 vp to leave me with a 7-3 win

Am digging Sam Hopkins beard also the purifying flame is really nice. I see you went for the same effect on sonnia's sword. I think the flames are too small to get the same effect and can see why you want to go back over it. Great looking crews all over though
