Some time ago I bought a small portable fotostudio from Xenos in Holland, it included lights and a stand for the camera.
I've never had problems with them with my previous camera (an Olympus) but it was getting old so I bought a Canon wich works a treat to be honest.
It took me some time to get used to the Olympus when taking pics of miniatures so I guess this'll be no different but thanks for the help anyway :-))
Good advice is always welcome :-)

Wow :-)))

That is a wonderful base on him and the Gremlin looks very good as well. I might recommend a wash of GW Gryphonne Sepia or Devlan Mud on the Pigs skin though (to give some more definition to the model).
Thanks, the bases are scratchbuild.
I must say that the pig looks less bright in real life, the picture was taken with a new camera and I'm still not used to the thing :-D

Makes my wanna hide my brushes in shame :-s
Great paintjob :-)

That's some nice paintjob.
It seems that, like you, a fair few people start from a white basecoat instead of black.
Maybe I should take a leaf out of that book and start using white too, Should work a treat on Rasputina and her gang if I get my hands on her :-)

I've finished the Stuffed piglets and the Taxidermist today.
And when looking at the pictures I've noticed I completely forgot to paint the ropes on one of the piglets so I'll post those tomorrow but I can show 'His Crazyness' in all his painted glory :-p
I'm working on the Pigapult for the moment and it looks a treat :-))

I think it's safe to say the banjo gremlin is always everyone's favorite. (nods)
My personal favorite's the taxidermist, he's freaky :-D

Great work on the models and the bases, the home made stuff's always nicer :-)

Very nice work on those minis, I can't say wich one is my favorite :-)

Thanks all, The stuffed Piglets are of a more greenish tone to show their dead/dying/undead status :-)
I'm painting the Taxidermist now, I think of him more as a nutty evil genius than some one who actually knows what he's doing so in comes the white bloodspatterd coat and rubber green gloves.
The Gremlin skin was done with a basecoat of Camouflage green, washed with green ink, drybrushed with camouflage green and highlighted to rotting flesh all from Vallejo.
As for the tophat, I could'nt resist that :-)
I can easily imagine he's picked it up somewhere near The Breach when he went to take a peak and whilst humans may frown upon it and see it as idiotic the Gremlins will find it impressive for all the colours and shiny bits.
So the Unle Sam-styled hat was a go :-))

Hello all,
I'm new here and very unfamiliar with this game.
I've been around in the wargaming hobby for some time now and thanks to a coulpe of friends I'm taking my first steps into the Malifaux universe.
My gang of choice are Gremlins with So'mer Teeth Jones leading them.
I had the miniatures for a few months and am now painting them up for an upcoming demogame of Malifaux, no way I'm going in with bare metal and plastic :-))
Here's my version of So'mer
The 4 Gremlins
More miniatures are on the paintingtable as we speak, in particular the Stuffed Piglets and the Taxidermist.

I hope you like them :-)
