To me that makes unerring accuracy really useless compared to Fury and Unfailing, because you still have to win the duel and that +3 won't guarentee a straight or +dg flip. Fury will make even a weak flip 5 dg. Unfailing really ups the chance for a whirlwind or high card. i guess if Unerring accuracy was a +dg flip then i'd see it as useful.

yes you can, but it would be better to keep them in your hand to bluff your opponent who may try to get you to discard. Also you can keep them in your hand and discard them during the next draw so they won't be in your fate deck for the next turn.

Recently i've been using the sisters in Battle spell, mainly fury, but once and awhile i'll use Unerring accuracy adding the +3 to the final total. A friend said i was wrong because on the card it says "After this model hits with Masamune Nihoto attack its combat total receives +3". He said i would only get the + 3 if i was the winner of the duel already. Which of us is correct?

Example: Viktoria swings at convict gunslinger. Flips a 6, so her starting total would be 13. Convict gunslinger flips a 10, totaling 14. Neither of us cheat, but Viktoria has unerring accuracy. would she get the +3 making her total 16 or not?

I think Drain Souls (1) really sets the standard on this situation. Just the fact that your master can sacrifice 3 models for 3 soulstones within 6" (pg 119) means that they took into account the option of removing your own models for a boost in soulstones, but lose in stats. How it relates being sportsmanship is that you and your opponent have that option. Killing your own master to deny 4vp is over the top to me, but it does make us think of whole new ways of employing schemes, stategies and crews. I think that is what makes this game great because there is far from just one way of playing a crew or a master. You always have to keep on your toes to little things. Ronin have a great way of disrupting kill protegee, they'd just seppeku, and "hey i hire another". lose of 3 soul stones, but VP denial. I think this game is very ends justify the means.

No, you can only enter terrain in that way with a walk action. If they are put there via a placement effect or push, it doesn't count. they'll still probably get hit when they activate(if they aren't pushed or pulled out in some manner)

The fluff really makes the game so much better in my opinion. It makes you care about the motivations behind the characters too. I think it'll make them even more of a fan if they're just starting.

I haven't had the chance to grab him yet, but after looking at him for awhile i've thought of a few possible combos. Grab a performer w/ mannequin and have him use link and attach him to the Viks. In the future using Vanessa to hire arcanist's constructs and either steals their abilities, or hires arachnids and smashes them for scrap counters. A good go to is just a tag team with Killjoy. I think it'll take a bit of testing before he finds niche to fill.

In a game i played tonight my opponent cast a lure spell on his own model, but rather than flip a resist card he said that he chose to fail the resist and not flip anything. He said he'd seen other players doing that, but i never have. We did a quick search in the rule book, but couldn't find anything saying you could choose to fail a duel without flipping a fate card. So i'd like to know if the fate flip is mandatory for duels, or if the player has the choice to lose without flipping a card.

This has come up with a few games, but to win a terrifying duel you have to meet the target number or beat it?

does this apply to casting spells and the resist duel as well?

I use LA awesome from the 99cent Store here in California. Works just as good as simple green, but at a fraction of the cost. Strips plastics and metals clean in about a day.

I'd say just release a big book of all three with updates a few years down the line rather than a 2.5 or even 3.5 later. Possibly add in a few more fluff tidbits as well as the wyrd chronicles and some extra behind the scene stuff. I'd buy that.

If I flip a black joker on the damage flip, but declared a trigger that says after dealing damage etc. Will the trigger still activate even though I dealt 0 damage?

The Viks, aVik and some ronin would be a good moblie strike team that is only good in certain situations, but always draws attention. Even if they aren't very compatible with Misaki's box set or most others they won't be completely useless. Also they make a simple crew if he ever wants to demo with a friend.

Grabbing the Misaki box with Viks wouldn't be a bad idea. I have love for bishop, taelor and Johan, but they can be a pain to use together. The blister of Viks, aVik and the Ronins would be a nice bonus to the Misaki box in my opinion.

Is the misaki in the new box set going to be an alternative to the current misaki or will it have a new set of skills an abilities?

I recently played a game of Viktoria vs Rasputina. As we set up and played we came upon two questions that neither of us were really clear on.

1. We flipped badlands w/ stampede on terrain. Now is it 8" totaling 16" of danger zone on each side of the center line or 4" on each side totaling 8" of danger zone? we flipped and ended up with 16" of danger zone which made the game interesting. I'd just like a clarification for the future.

2. I activated a Ronin and used Run Through on his Ice Gamin. I won the duel and triggered Next Target and he triggered the Ice Gamin's Sub Zero. I did 3 DMG, but do i still complete the Next Target movement trigger and the Run Through remainder of movement or does she just stop there? We agreed that it was hard to tell so i completed the move, but was unable to use Ronin's melee expert.

My only problem with taking Lazarus with the Viks is what the points may replace. 8ss (I think) would have to replace Schill, a librarian, or a Ronin and some SS cache... Depending on your preference. He may not be worth it... For the Viks. He's probably great with Levi.

as awesome as Schnill is i think it's always fun to try out new models to see what happens so i'm not too worried.

I think Lazarus would be an awesome addition to the Viks, i can't wait to get my own Laz.
