  1. Does your phone have a hardware 'Options' button? On your platform the app automatically added the options software button (the '...' in the upper right) automatically. That's taking up some extra space, even though it looks like it has plenty of room to expand the tab..

It does not have one dedicated, but my home button is set to display menus on long press.

  2. On any dialog where you're choosing models, swipe from right -> left over the model you want to add and it will bring up a counter. Pick a number and they'll all be added at once.

This just about sums up why I love this app. A full range of gestures and presses are used to conserve real estate.

It's pretty much exactly what I've been wanting. All the sections are connected; it's very easy to go from creator, to encounter, to crews, and back. Things are generally pretty intuitive, though with this community they'll no doubt become even better. I look forward to testing this more over the weekend. If Wyrd gets on board with rules it'll no doubt be with me for every game.

    Now for a report:

    • I noticed, strangely enough, that when on the 'Encounter' page if I touch near either of the point totals at the top, a model's description pops up.
    • Another small gripe with the 'Encounter' page is that when using the app in portrait, the 'r' at the end of 'Encounter' is moved down to the next line. I don't know what the best way to fix this would be, but, as a suggestion, is there a way to make it so that instead of cutting the 'r' off it decreases the size of the text?

Here's a screenshot showcasing both of these issues:

    • It doesn't seem to restrict leader options based on game size. I can have Lilith lead a 15ss crew.

Testing done on an HTC One running CM 11.2 (4.4.2)

    Thanks for the awesome app!

  3. Lelu and Lilitu done, at least the bulk of it -- a few things to tidy up, when I get a chance over the next 48 hours or so. Please update, correct, add, revise, critique, and quibble at will.

    Looks good, thanks!

Bulk of Spawn Mother and Gupps done.

I seem to use them differently to others (Mainly in Arcanists...), so please add as you see fit

(I might try and tie them in a bit more with the Silurid entry)

I made a few minor edits to bring them in line with the style guide. Looks good!

  4. if your wanting stats and all the card info in it you might find that pushes any agreement with Wyrd... Maybe they might have another version of this like the PP War Room app where you can buy faction decks so then you can have the cards on the fly

I remember this being discussed around the time of M2E beta wave 1 and I believe the answer was something along the lines of, we're not doing anything like that right now, but may or may not be open to a community member starting something and going from there.

Ultimately I would love to see this project turn into full-featured digital card management; complete with not only crew creation, saving, and wound/condition tracking, but rules as well. Ever since the start of the open beta I've wanted an app that would allow me to not use cards. I'd pay a hefty amount for it, too. It's not something I expect to see anytime soon; the current plan for the app will be plenty useful. I intend to start making use of it already, in fact.

What I'd like to know is, perhaps depending on the result of this project, if there is the potential for Wyrd to inject some officialness into this thing to produce that level of functionality.

  5. First (unique) thought:

    - I know there is a 'back' button up top, but it would be nice if my hardware back button worked the same way. Currently, if I am in the crew creator and want to return to the menu, pressing my hardware back button takes me to my home screen.

Most of what pops up in my head while I play with it are features that have already been covered (saving, tracking, etc). Making sure what is generated and created sticks around upon closing the app is probably the most important change to be made in this version. For what the app is right now I don't see a whole lot that needs changing beyond this.

My device: HTC One running Cyanogenmod 11

  6. Quick note, Tanen and Graves are M1 content, not M2.

    Thanks! I fixed the links.

As I posted in the 10t page I can update Tannen and Graves if it helps.

No one else has claimed them, should I add you to the list?

    http://pullmyfinger.wikispaces.com/M2E+Doppelganger Doppelganger has been updated.

http://pullmyfinger.wikispaces.com/M2E+Daydream Daydream has been corrected style wise.

If someone wants to go these through and see if there's something more to do?

I cleaned up the Doppelganger a bit. Looks good!

    Updated Huggy.

    Awesome! List updated.

Remember, just because the model is listed as done that does not mean it is perfect. If you have something to add feel free to do so. It is a wiki after all.

Nice! Can you update the first post to include links to the articles? (Or where the article will end up, if it's still empty?)

    Done!

I've got some work started on a couple minions in the Collodi Tactica if anyone wants to copy parts off for the generic entries.

If no one claims them I'll copy it over once I've completed the ones currently on my plate. Thanks!

  8. http://pullmyfinger.wikispaces.com/M2E+Daydream

I got to start working on the Dreamers crew today and just finished the Daydream, could someone give that a read and see if that's okay or does the format or something need to be changed so I know how to do the rest :)

Content looks good. Take a look at the "Captialization, Game Terms, Etc" section of the wiki Style Guide. Game terms should be styled according to this guide.

Also, as you finish filling in models, post your progress here so I can better track it: http://wyrd-games.net/community/topic/101288-m2e-pullmyfinger-wiki-neverborn/

    Thanks for all your work!

  9. This thread is a spin-off of "Let's populate the M2E PullMyFinger Wiki." All tracking of non-Master Neverborn models will be done here. Some have already been claimed, but a lot still need to be done. Just post below which models you'd like to work on and I'll add you to the list. Post again when you're done and I'll report back to Hateful Darkblack in the other thread so you get the credit you deserve!

    Models with pages filled out:

    Models that need work:

    Henchmen

    Enforcers

    Minions

  10.

I won't be able to track multiple threads as far as who did what for the raffle. I definitely see how it could be an advantage to plan with many small threads, but to account who did what afterwards would become much more difficult.

You could have an "enforcer" be in charge of each faction's thread and report back to you with contributors.

  11. Oh, okay :D Um, I think I can start working on quite a many of them actually. I can see if the Dreamer needs anything, I can take Chompy, Daydreams, Stitched together, Coppelius and Weaver (unless someone really wants to do these two), Doppelganger, Insidious Madness and the Hooded Rider. Does that sound okay?

Go for it, but don't burn out! I've been trying to do one per day and it's working well so far. I'll add you to the list.
