  1. Awesome, thanks for the superfast reply dude!

Any chance of a pg No that describes measuring overhead for most things (apart from melee ranges when one opposing model is on a flat elevation only) as I've been told this time over time.

(Sorry, I'm very new to the game and have scoured the rulebook to no avail)

  2. I looked it up-- climbing only specifies moving, not what type and, since pushing is moving, yes, I believe you can have a model climb as part of a push.

However, if you ruled that there were no ways to climb any part of a building (i.e. smooth on all sides and no ladders), then no, you couldn't climb/push up it. But, I never play with terrain that is completely inaccessible to some types of models (as it could create really unpleasant situations vs. ranged/flying pieces or snipers that start on an inaccessible object, for instance).

Let's say that one Vik is at the base of a building and the other on top, within 1" of the edge and the height of the building is very high, lets say infinite height, are they considered to be within 3" of each other because you measure from an overhead view, or is the height of the building taken into account for the range they are within of each other?

  3. Cheers Guys!

Yeh my photo taking skills leave something to be desired sometimes.

More pics will follow when I finish her, will keep progress of all models I paint too.

At some stage in the future I want to make my own board as I've not done any terrain for a while and the world of Malifaux has really inspired me, plus due to the nature of the game you can go all out, not like other mass battle wargames.

  4. So this is my first post and my first Wyrd mini.

Got to say I'm loving the fluff, models and game of Malifaux, even though i've only played 3 games, I'm pretty hooked.

    Er, hello too!

I've started out buying the Mercenaries boxed set as I love a lot of the Outcast models, but there's hardly any models or masters I don't like, so it could have been any really.

So I plumped for the Vik's, with the idea that I could use the Freikorps at some point as they look great and have Convict Gunslinger, 3 Ronin, Misaki, 2 Desperate Mercs on order.

This is gun Vik which obviously needs her base finishing and varnishing, but the paintjob of the model is finished.

Let me know what you think.
