The Dreamer isn't the easiest Master to start with, but as with BillyGB he was my first and it's certainly possible to learn the game with him.
While your choices aren't the most sleek tournament-worthy list ever and I really can't see how Candy would be useful with Dreamer, Kade and Teddy should be hilarious. The Dreamer can bury Nightmares, travel quickly around the board and unload them onto key spots. Since Teddy counts as a Nightmare when taken in a Dreamer crew, this'll give him two methods of fast movement; being picked up and dropped by Dreamer, and switching places with Kade when he's within 15". Having two big models (Chompy and Teddy) flying about the board should at least keep your opponents guessing. I would, however, suggest a pack of Daydreams; the Dreamer's pretty much crippled without them, as they can move Chompy and transform him back out of his Chompy form.
Although some of the Dreamer stuff's out of date, check the Pullmyfinger wiki for details on all the stuff you fancy, and bear in mind that the Dremamer has had an errata that slows him down quite a bit compared from what he used to be capable of.
