  1. Just as an example: In my Meta there is a lot of Killjoy. The rogue never survive an onslaught, Izamu does.

It does just depends on your meta and what you re fighting like everything in Malifaux.

If I have to be generalist I would say it depends on the master, with Kirai, Yan Lo, molly (path) and Nicodem I would take Izamu but with Mc Morning, Molly (horror), Tara, Seamus and Levi I would take the rogue.

Again this is not systematic it depends a lot about schemes, strategy, opponent, meta...etc

    My 2 cents

  2. I think it would be nice to get a confirmation from Wyrd or a consensus here.

    General Timing:

Whenever any ability happens at the same time as any Triggers, the Triggers are resolved first.

So for Ikyro it's clear, she can't be targeted.

But for Bête, I just don't know what is the timing there.

  3. I'd say that's not true. He's just buried, "not killed or sacrificed."

You can absolutely bring her out at the end of a turn when he sacrifices a Waif to return to play, though.

Killing Levy before he activates is almost exactly the same as killing one of his Waifs and giving him Paralyzed. The difference is in his positioning options (his options are somewhat reduced when he's killed).

He's got three lives - you can kill him and/or his Waifs three times before he's permanently buried, and that number can never be increased. Just kill whichever is easier, safer or more convenient - with the additional benefit, if you kill Levy, that he misses his turn as well. Badly hurting him is also fine, because he's not especially effective if he can't Channel, and he'll burn resources to try to stay alive.

Unfortunately as the Waif is sacrificed and not killed Bête cannot be unburied  :(

  4. Hi guys,

I would like to know how would you deal with Levi in reckoning and collect the Bounty ? With which master and how ? And also how would you do it with Seamus.

I am just looking for new way or a new angle to see things as I am really struggling against him on those 2 Strats.  Every time I show up with a idea he seems to have the trigger or the ability to by pass it.

I though the hanged could deal with him. no

I though the flesh construct was a good idea but his trigger half damage just does the job.

The waif are really difficult to get to without using loads of activation.

With reckoning and Collect the bounty it's not really reliable to "just kill the anchors" without killing the full crew.

    Well, please enlighten me :)

    Thanks

  5. I don't think its written anywhere, I think it was assumed to be standard English, that when you give someone a list of things to do, typically they would do them in the order you gave them to do it. Especially when the order seems to matter.

I know it was discussed whilst we were Beta testing Levi, and the wording was put in that order because any other order would have killed him. And that would have created a gamestate loop of bizarreness and confusion when he can't be killed.

I agree and it s why I ask the question because there is a difference between "and" and "then".  Very well, Leveticus will escape death one more time then  ;)

  6. Pariahs soul reads

"When this model is killled or sacrificed, it is not killed or sacrificed. Instead, Bury this model, Remove all conditions and heal all damage on this model."

You do things in the order they are wriitten, so the "You can't heal" condition will be removed before you heal. He also will be buried, so out of decaying Aura, before he heals. It was written that way, to avoid rules debates.

Is this common knowledge or is it written somewhere ? I agree with this but couldn't find anything to backed it up....

    Thanks

  7. The rest of our forces were moving in direction of the neutral counter, with him keeping the student, sue and the librarian in his deployement zone feeding him like 4 handcards every turn to make the viks extremely dangerous.

    Hi,

Thanks for the BR. Could someone explain to me the trick ? I can't see why the player was drawing 4 cards a turn. Sorry for the Noob question.

    Thanks

  8. Well, well, well it is also not a bad idea the only thing is I know myself and if I put une belle or a crooligan or something else the turn after they pop my brain will use this or those model as part of my tactic untill I realize they are mindless zombie......... But still not a bad idea. Why using a crookman as a MZ is legal ?

  9. Hi guys,

I am looking for some 32mm proxies MZ as I hate put twice the same model on the table. I found them very very hard to convert and nico sometimes (often with me even if I played only 10ish games) needs more than 6 MZs on his table.

Any link will be very welcome :)

    Thank you all friendly necromencer.
