  1. What exactly does There Is No Shelter Here do? Is there any way to actually reduce a single point of damage? Unless prevent flips count as reducing.

While I'm at it, which do folks think is better among the limmited upgrades? I kinda lean towards Fears+the box opens but paralyze triggers on weapons is also so neat...

  2. I figured I could start a painting thread here to get critigues and help and tips and such for my work instead of annoying people in chats heh... Hopefully this will help me improve.

Anyway, latest stuff... Lilitu and Miss Demeanor!

The images don't wanna work so I'll just have to link to them unfortunately.

Some other stuff from several months ago to compare. Not sure if I've improved or not considering how poorly miss demeanor turned out.

And then compared to previous stuff which go as far as almost a year ago yet I seem to have done a much better job.

I feel as though my attempts to improve are falling flat =/

  3. I have a question. I have yet to see the actual card, only the book. When I heard "All done" could be done automatically I was very confused. the book says it not only needs to hit but also DAMAGE the enemy. Why was this changed on the card? It would make the slingshot a risk/reward instead of a "no reason not to do this" and making attacking enemies with Use Soulstone a lot tougher (oh I flipped moderate on damage prevention, sorry no trigger for you). It seems very silly to me.

  4. I've had this dispute arrise a few times and searched the forums for it and couldn't find it.

Model 1 starts an opposed duel with model 2. (in this case it was a strike)

    both models flip fate

Model 1 is winning, loser gets to cheat fate first.

Model 2 chooses to pass on cheating fate.

Model 1 cheats fate to replace the card with a higher card.

Model 2 claims they get to cheat fate in responce. That cheating goes back and forth until both players cheat fate AND use a soulstone or until both players pass one after the other.

Is that a legal move? There is an upcoming league and I want to make sure such an important rule is done correctly. My opponent was dead set on this being the rule and is generally a good player.

    Thank you for your help.
