  1. Its nowhere near the original style but I use 65lb stock and print them using Adobe Acrobat then laminate.  In the print options it lets you print odds or evens and on the second printing there is an option to print in reverse order so you just figure out which orientation to put your first print back into the printer and print reverse order.  This should match up backs to fronts (I print on 8 1/2" x 11" with the cards in a 3 x 3 grid, landscape for stats, portrait for upgrades).  Hope this helps.

  2. I ran a tournament at Cptn Nemo's in San Luis Obispo CA

40 ss, single faction.  We had 8 players (a pretty good turn out for our area) including 3 fairly new players, one of which had only played one turn of a game before this (special thanks to all of his opponents for being great and working with him).

We had 6 tables set up in various configurations.

And the trophies were made of old pineapple grenade hulls (that I forgot to get pictures of....)  I'll see if I can get a pic.

  3. I love it, however I would like to see a way to show the info on the upgrade cards so we know what they do. Even if it is just a quick blurb about it. I think that would assist the newer players like myself who don't know all the upgrades and what they can do as well as people trying out new masters and don't know the master all to well. Even if it is a glossary added to an additional section of the app.

I know this was addressed but even listing (with permission) the abilities without any details would help with upgrades in crew building when 'out and about' without access to my arsenal decks (like many I have gamer ADD and have many crews an don't always remember upgrades by name).

  4. Another thing to keep in mind that I (and I think most reasonable gamers) would rather face a badly painted army (or crew) than one all unpainted or just primed.  It shows that you are putting out the effort and the models are easier to keep track of.  So don't get dicouraged, the best way to get better is by doing.  Keep at it and your skills will improve.  One of our local guys paints professionally and has a site with tips and tutorials http://www.figurepainters.com/

Good luck and post up some of your work.

  6. Lets break this up in simple questions

    1. Do we all agree that you cannot target a buried model?

    2. Do we all agree that if you cannot target a buried model, you are not able to heal it any further?

    3. Do we all agree that nothing in the ability implies that you can break this rule, or implies that it will ever heal more then 1wd?

If we can all agree on these 3 simple points, logic would imply(in my humble opinion) that the target would not go below zero wounds, as this ability would otherwise be completely useless 90% of the time, and you would simply have a dead Horeman in the ground   :)

If I am not correct in my conclusion, then I am just happy I do not play Leveticus as this ability would be extremely unreliable to say it diplomatic ;)

Tara's crew can target as well as heal/damage buried models.  It's kind of their thing.  I will have to look up the exact wording on the various abilities that they use.

  7. Oh! I never knew this!! Although how I would sand something so tiny does confuse me! But this will definitely help as a lot of the metal models have the paint 'chip' really easily before they're varnished. Thankyou!! :D

Totally free downloadable PDFs on the internets! (http://www.toposolitario.com/workshop/ikube.html). Just printed the map off and glued the 8 sections to card paper, and the storage containers we got printed on thick card so they could hold up to being assembled like boxes (and to hold the weight of the minis standing on them). And thankyou very much *grin*

For the containers I did something similar. I printed on regular paper then cut styrofoam blocks to size then folded the containers around them to strengthen them for play.

  8. OK, the first part, "after damage", if the model was killed it obviously took damage so first part fulfilled. The second part, "target must discard a card if able", the target model never has cards, its the player that has them. I believe the wording is to clarify which player discards. So as I understand it, yes, the player would still discard a card if they have any.
