Ahhh! I was. Under..I. totally forgot about the her cache! And I was defender...being short 3. Three gremlins could have made the game a little different..an added slop hauler could have helped as well

So I just finished a game vs shamus..it was shared line in the sand 30ss I picked Ophilia 4 bayou gremlins Pere Rami And 3 young lacroix Asassinate and kill protege He took Shamus Copy cat Madame cybelle A belle 2 punk zomies Convict gunslinger And chose assasinate as well I lost this game horribly and I don't know if it was that my list just sucked or I had terrible luck ormy game choices were terrible..I did manage to kill the copy cat and a bell and 2 zombies.. my young lecroix kept the gunslinger and madame pretty busy..but I more or less used fast to much and his resilient stuff was just to hard to kill...

ah... i was confusing the no cheat with a black joker ,, in my mind i didnt put the difference between cheating and soul stone usage....

I'm in the Thursday cake event. The Friday 30 ss qualifier. And the Saturday 30 ss qualifier. I hope to win at least one game on Friday and Saturday..and learn as much as I can! I have another question! When you flip a black joker you can't cheat fate but you can use a soulstone..why would you ever use a soulstone in addition to a black joker?

Just a quick update! Last weekend. I met up with henchman nihlist at games plus in mount prospect illinois and had a great game ..ophilia vs sonia crid..then took notes on another game of avatar ramos vs perditia... I'm commited to play with outcasts. Ophilia,the vics, hamlin possibly or levi..currently painting gremlins..will reaserch vic builds next

Gotcha...ok in future games I will note time used per turn as well as any snags I run into... develope a system or procedure for the turn... just finished casting..tn duel..vs resist... noticed tho when does the target apply its (pitiful effect) during the sequence? Pitiful sounds pretty good against gremlins..? Is it a big factor?

Really tho is it possible. At 30 stones to play 6, 15 minute turns icludeing set up as well?

I once heard.. learn to do it right first..then learn to do it fast... Anyone have any tips on achieving speed and correctness in a consecutive format?

Ok.. I'm seeing more effects that allow you to force an opponent to discard.

What would keep a player from camping on the black joker(keep it in your hand) the entire game so it doesn't come up in any flips?

I can't discard it until my next draw phase because the discard step happens before I draw...and scince the black joker must be used "when it is revealed" I have to use it on the first fate check oppurtunity? Because its revealed to me at the time of my draw step? And scince I can't cheat fate with a negative modifier.. I could technically make it to the next discard step by suffering negative modifier flips until then? Or no?

So far so good! Learning the fate deck. Flips.Twisting fate.soulstone addition.joker effects.. phases..alternate activations based off initiative flip (which can be replaced by a soulstone not added too) simple and opposed duels..lowest initiates fate cheats and soulstone usage ...general action..specific action.all action..stopping at page 33 for now. Wondering how often in a game does the soulstone for replace of the flip for initiative seem game altering with combined activations!

Signed up for three malifaux events at adepticon. Reading rule book currently up to page 19 ..the basics ..tokens... confused for a minute about how all models but spirits block but do not grant cover.. then I see items block and do give cover if its a partial block.partial line of sight and ht differences apply before granting cover... learned about sloping terrain that's elevated vs flat elevated terrain that provides a shadow zone equal to the ht of the terrain feature.... more to come
