  1. So it seems the famous Joeyfaux will be playing at this tournament...So all be prepared you could be on screen
  2. hmmmmm could be a good place for first tournament
  3. Awesome, we do have room for 32 but I do think that is ambitious ...I have also plugged it on the Malifools podcast
  4. I did realise that I had missed a location off that post as I left it, but couldn't be bothered to edit it How about you David is there anyone else from your group?
  5. That's a real shame :-( would've been great to have you along. ---------- Post added at 01:56 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:54 PM ---------- I'm hoping that Joel and Guildmonkee can get more of the York boys along
  6. For me it is the little twists and second meanings you can get from things. Also the scribe work inside the warpig "pork chop express". Just the little things that show this is a fun but slightly warped game
  7. Heh...it will be offered but I am still after the team mentality so although they may win best in faction it doesn't necessarily mean that they are right for the team (commitments etc)
  8. Haha we all know Doms master plan *wink* Well I think the general consensus is wait for the GT so we shall wait for the GT
  9. HMMMM do we just skip the GT and have a vote between Mike and Joel as Team England Captain
  10. Ok, so I know that Team England Captain will be hotly contested so I have come up with a plan....The Captain will be offered to the GT winner in November, if they decline it, it will go to the 2nd place then 3rd respectively, if they still decline then it goes to Joel on as he has volunteered himself (remember Captains pick their teams)
  11. That is very, very true, so February is the date, I will try and find out when the half term from school/college is and try to have it one of them weekends. Now just to get the captains for each nation sorted so they can pick their teams. Team England Captain: Team Wales Captain: Dumb Luck? Team Scotland Captain: Team Ireland Captain: Mergoth? Team Northern Ireland Captain:
  12. Hmmm I'm not sure even Som'er and Peaches would count as 6 people *wink* I'm guessing you will be Team Wales captain?
  13. Great stuff I will have a chat with Craig and see what he can do with venue etc up there, I think we could maybe have some extra teams in (on top of the 5 countries) the tournament, as just the 5 teams could be quite quickly over...
  14. As all the guys have said Seamus vs Lady J is great fun and super fluffy...we all know Seamus would love Lady J as one of his 'beautiful' belles Have fun dude, I have found destroy the evidence as a great strategy for demo games as although it gives the choice to kill all on the table, it also opens up more of the rules and aims of the games with terrain interaction
  15. @CunningStunt: Do you have a website for NWGC or if you are around there maybe chat to the guys there and see if they could house a 30 man Tournament (5 Teams of 6 people), also is there plenty of hotels etc around there? @Schism: I have PM'd your local henchman (Daemonkin) to find out about your area, but I am glad you have gotten in touch, I wouldn't worry about Tournament experience as I am aiming for this to be mainly a great meet with other guys from around our Islands with the tournament being an added bonus. Hopefully we can get at least 1 team from each country and make this a yearly thing that is looked forward to by all
  16. Well every team will need cheerleaders (dressed accordingly ie dead foxy, gremlinete, show girl, hollow waif, any thing guild as they're all girlie). I have a feeling February it may be, you'll all need to learn book 4 and new faction after all :-)
  17. I think we should be able to claim/mold/corrupt a new guy :-)
  18. Heh, I am in the middle of writing a loooong thread on Arcanists :-) But anyhow you are Edonils plaything *wink*
  19. As edonil has said. Hello, welcome to the wyrd! Enjoy your stay and any questions, queried or Arcanist chat just hit me up :-)
  20. I'll never make top 6. I think the two teams could be a good idea (A & B team) so I shall see if the various countries could field two teams. The European countries I have plans for after this (if this works out). I do want to run an ETC. I shall leave the Brum games expo for you, I don't want to step on my mentors toes after all!! Hopefully chat more about this when you are back
  21. I really like the idea of 6 person teams and having it so each master has to be used at least once I won't make a team but I just want to see how this goes before attempting an actual ETC. Mike I would enjoy all the help I can as I can see this being quite a challenge, Logistically and physically. I am always open to venue ideas...looking at it liverpool would probably be the best area for the England event (close to Bonny Scotland, Wales and there is an airport/ferry port for the Irish and Northern Irish) I think as it is after the masters I would look at GT and masters, approach the winner and see if he/she would be interested in fielding a 6 person team against the rest of britain... February could be a good month (quiet tournament wise, there is a college/school halfterm and it also gives us plenty of time to earn partner points) Richard
  22. So do we reckon after the masters in January?
  23. It will be the latest can see it being more October time tbh ---------- Post added at 11:21 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:44 AM ---------- OK, so with the guys here that have expressed an interest, what months would be best for everyone (january being the masters). September? October? November has the GT. December? I think the first one shall be at maelstrom, beings that is a central location. Teams of 4 or 5 seems the best bet (I know Ireland would prefer 3) as this gives more people a chance to play. My intention is to let Team captains pick their own team. I would like to have 4 rounds and then have one team each round that won't play (used as extra referees etc) What is everyone else's views on this?
  24. I was looking at teams of 5 initially, will just depend on some team experience :-) I'm not looking until end of this year maybe January latest :-) I thought about ETC just figured how this one went first...
