  1. Hi guys,

hope you can provide a bit of help here.

I have the starter box and Teddy, and really want to expand on my Pandora crew. Reading on the forum and listening to various podcasts it seems that the following models should be a priority:

    Doppelganger

    Lelu

    Lilitu

    Insidious Madness

    Poltergeist

    Primordial Magic

They are however all book 1 or 2 models and I wanted to know if there are any book 3 models that you guys would recommend. Now I really like my crews to be thematic(Doppelganger, Baby Kaede, Candy etc.), so what should be getting?

  2. Seamus is my favourite Master and I love using him. He has suffered a little with the increasing meta of non living/undead models that are in the game but he can still function well (just some of his tools are rendered unusable)

IF changes were to be made these are all I would consider are needed and not neccessarily all of them.

    • SS cache up to 4
    • Trail of Fear change "living models" to "enemy models"
    • Excessive Bleeding Trigger back on Flintlock as well (as it used to be many many moons ago)
    • Face of Death change to :aura 3 Anathema -> 14
    • Remove :ranged from Live for Pain

The flintlock doesnt need to be able to be fired more than once per turn, it is as much an area denial piece as actual damage dealer. If in range I oten use Live for Pain more often as my Ca is higher then my Cb and I get the heal out of it.

Seamus just needs a couple of his tools tweaked with the new meta (mind you looking at a lot of the 10T models we might be seeing a lot more living models back on the board)

    Very good suggestions IMO.

My own where more thematic changes, and not so much quick fixes like these

  3. Having listend to the latest Cheated Fates podcast about the Seamus tactica and really liking it. The one thing that really hit me, was when the hosts said something like: "you need to play Seamus like Jack the Ripper. Hit and runs tactics".

With that in mind I think it would be cool to add the following two abilities to Seamus:

    Stalker

    From the Shadows

That being said I would like to must of the changes already proposed in the thread.

  4. I believe you are correct in this situation. From looking at the Rules FAQ and the Damage Resolution FAQ, it says "damage inflicted" is the total amount suffered Before reducing effects are taken into account. So yeah on a severe you would heal 5 even if the opponent has armor or use soulstone, if they do have one or more of those then they'll still take the reduced amount of damage.

    Cheers Ductman, thanks for responding

  5. Yesterday in our game a situation occured in which we were unable to find out what was right/wrong.

I used Live for Pain on an enemy model for 5 damage, my opponent then wanted to use a Wound Prevention flip primarily to prevent me from healing 5 Wounds. I then argued that I had given him 5 damage and the wording on the spell said that I healed the same number of wounds as the damage dealt. His Wound Prevention flip would remove incoming wound - not damage - and thus he would not be able to lower the amount of wounds that I healed.

    Is this correct?

  6. Hi guys,

had a game last night and a few questions came up that I found myself unable to answer, so I hope you can help me.

Can a Ronin's (all) Seppukku action be used to bring Bete Noire or Killjoy into the game?

If I cast a successful Lure spell on an opponent, who is standing on the edge of a piece of terrain, does that model drop down/fall down from that piece if that is the most direct route to the caster?

When using Bete Noire's Depraved Tactics, and the Sever Spine enhancement, does the knives still do damage or is that forsaken for the Paralyze effect?

I hope you guys can help.
