  1. I'm running an Escalation League at Poole Gaming Society (Link here http://poolegaming.wordpress.com/about/) we'll be going for 5 weeks, in which you'll take a starting crew of 30ss and finish the league with 50ss.

This league will be great for beginners looking to improve their knowledge of the game or players looking into new masters.

We're starting Tuesday 26th of November at 30ss.

So if you're in the area and looking to play some Malifaux give me a PM or email me at thejoehadfield@live.co.uk

  2. Just a few random questions for both sides of the pond...

    What you drinkin' bros?

What soulstone level is (in your opinion) best suited for competitive play? Casual play?

Do you usually play with schemes revealed or hidden and why? Obviously dependent on scheme pool.

Which faction do you think came off best in the edition change? Or is it too early to tell?

What masters/minions are you most looking forward to in the wave 2 beta?

  3. If you're a malifaux player in the Poole/Bournemouth area or if you're looking to start out, there's a new gaming club opening its doors just outside the Poole town center. The Poole Gaming Society is having its opening night on the 7th of May and I'll be running Malifaux demos from 7pm-10pm. I have a couple of people expressing interest already so if you'd like to come down and get a demo (or even if you're just looking for a game) you can contact me by PM or dropping an email to thejoehadfield@live.co.uk.

The Poole Gaming Society is located at-

    Poole Day Centre,

    12A Commercial Road,

    Poole,

    Dorset

    BH14 0JW

If you would like more information on the Pool Gaming Society visit their website- http://poolegaming.wordpress.com/

Please be aware that the club is awaiting their final confirmation from the GCN, as such the date for this may be changed. I'll be sure to keep you updated.

    Cheers, Joe.

  4. Hello, and welcome, to the first episode of MaliBros - the Malifaux Party Podcast!

The intro to this episode pretty much says it all, I truly hope you can get beyond how drunk Mr. Tomlin was on the recording and come back for episode 2 which will be much less disjointed and actually have some structure + proper Malifaux content.

That said, I think its pretty fun, you get to know us a bit and there are reviews of the Malifaux GT as well as an evening event we attended in Portsmouth. I wonder if Chris gets across the point that he likes Lucius?

Remember to follow us on Twitter @MaliBrosPodcast - once we get to 200 followers we'll give away a Lost Love...exciting huh?!

So thats pretty much it, thanks for listening and enjoy the show,

    Joe.

  5. Hey chap, a tad last second but I'll be coming up with three other bro's. Due to our driver needing to collect his car a few hours before we're going to be driving down to Portsmouth, we may be a slightly late. As such, would it be possible for us to play each other round one if we miss the start of the tournament?

    Cheers, Joe

  6. I'm sure it's been said more eloquently before but none the less mad props to Jo for arranging the whole thing and putting up with us all for a weekend. Thanks to James and Tim for their help with the event and of course thanks to all 7 of my opponents over the weekend for enduring my Neverborn filth.

Well except for one of you, nine god damn nil...

Joking aside had an awesome time at my first Malifaux tournament, will definitely be back next year.

  7. Just testing the water here, but as a complete noob to both the scene and the game I'd love to attend this event. But on the subject of accommodation, I'm wondering if anyone would be willing to share a room or if there are already hotel spaces available. It'd save us a bob or two. I realize, as I'm sure no one will know me from Adam, this could be somewhat daunting. Just asking if anyone would consider it before I take the plunge and by tickets.

    Cheers, Joe.
