  1. I'll usually go for Fury. 2 SS is usually worth it for the +2 dmg (especially when used with Hannah).

On the other hand I never take Battle. While I would pay 1 SS for accomplice/companion I won't pay 2 to get that plus the :+fate flip.

  2. Take Hannah and Fury on BloodVik and you'll have a Hannah that buffs both the Viks and herself (going up to 4/6 :blast /8 :blast :blast ) I usually go up with Hannah or another more or less tanky model (Ronin works since they can't be charged) first to protect/bait and just charge in afterwards.

I never throw my Viks unsupported into anything unless it's already in a desperate last attempt at countering a bad mistake I've made earlier.

Most people also forget that they are two models instead of one, which counts for lots. After killing only a few models I can just turn them into scheme runners if I feel the need for it, or to swamp a quarter for recon. This is one of the main reasons I usually take them over Von Schill.

  3. 1. Nope. Models never provide cover to other models (unless they happen to have a special rule which states otherwise)

    2. Not a Lilith player, pass.

    3. You discard the card to perform the Flurry Action which gives you 3 Attack Actions. After that you target the terrifying model with said attacks and perform the horror duel.

    Edit: Dirial'd!

  4. Assuming I need (or want to) deal with it.

Viks: Fight the target (and all targets around it at the same time)

    Von Schill: Fight

Jack Daw: Flight (in and fill it up with curses so it can't do anything and possibly use its own attacks to kill its friends)

Otherwise, if it's a hard-hitting but slow model just avoid it; if it's a shooty model try to engage it.

  5. It's called logic. That's no pun, it really is.

Well, it's a matter of experience as well. If the only yellow thing you ever saw was a bird then yellow might be what grants flight. Same with killing; if you never encountered sudden assassination or decapitate before, then you might think that it was only caused by being reduced to 0 (or fewer) wounds. :)

  6. A smile would be nice, as would something other than flames in her hand, how about a pidgeon?. Other than that I'm personally not that big a fan of the wide leg pose she's got. Better than the preview, but still lacking.

The Mannequin on the other hand is fantastic, but it would be nice if the legs were a bit more mechanical. With the high socks and smooth legs they look a bit too human at the moment.

  7. Vengeance Bullet: When this model declares an Sh Attack Action targeting a model which can use Soulstones, it may discard this Upgrade to make the declared Action deal +2 damage and gain to the duel.

Drinking Contest: Until the end of the Turn, enemy models within 3 of this model which declare an Action must succeed on a TN 12 Wp duel or take the (1) On the House Action instead.

Do I discard my upgrade first or take wp duel first.

Since it's your model activating and both things happen at the same time you should get to chose the order.

  8. I'm fairly sure there is something in the rulebook that states that if you can't fit the marker/model then you simply don't. If it's a summon then the summon fails, if it's a marker it just doesn't get placed.

    So:

    1. Sidir stays in place. Unclear if he's still the target of the Action. Yes?

    2. If there's no room simply don't place the target and/or Lucius. They remain in place.

    3. She dies.

Optionally, depending on the phrasing in the rulebook, all three actions/triggers fail and doesn't do anything at all.
