  1. Hi i play seamus and so far have:

    Seamus (obviously)

    3 rotten belles

    sybelle

    copycat

    bete

    convict

    2 canines

The reason for the canines is that my friend had a couple spare lotr's dogs so i converted them into canines, anyway just wondering what i should get next? i am going to be getting the molly set set when it is released, as well as aSeamus, and need a grave spirit, but i was thinking about another blister of something? these are my options so far:

    The Hanged

    Onryo

    Crooked Men

    Night Terrors

and possibly von schill, but i want to save my special forces slot for a horrors really

basically what i'm asking is which of the above models wold work best with what i already have (or am going to have).

    thanks

  2. An 8 inch leap which requires a 2 to cast, plus a free 6 inch walk, plus hard to kill, hard to wound, starts on the enemies side, paired combat 6 flurry on an attack that will do minimum 3 damage on half the cards in the game? And is harder to hit than a terror tot? Isnt effected by terrifying, doesn't leave corpse counters, and can push out of melee easily if it needs to.

I would gladly pay the extra soul stone to use this guy in a non-outcast army.

actually leap requires a 4 and it needs to be av mask

  3. The simple answer is no... The complex answer is it's no longer viable. Originally dogs could dig for corpses and there were far more crews that dropped corpses. These days you can play that way against crews that drop corpses. However you can't guarantee the enemy will drop corpse. There is at least one crew in each faction that doesn't. Therefore you need to assume that you will have to get them from your own crew, even if you don't end up cutting up your own side.

Also nothing seems wrong with McMourning cutting up his own crew to make new creations, I think he's beyond caring which crew the parts for his next experiment.

I see your point and on a after thought it might make sense mcmourning hiring a cheap mercenary before mercilessley chopping them up to make something bigger, but as for dogs i do actually like them on gtheir own as i think they are quite good for their price and can do good damage in packs, i suppose one of the points i wanted to bring up is using dogs not cobbeled together into a flesh construct as they seems to have a decent damage line and good defence

  4. What i mean is does anybody not use lists (especially mcmourning, and no nicodem) which involve killing off cheap models like desperate mercs and canines just to get flesh constructs etc? i know that it works, but i just hate this idea of killing your own models, instead of the enemies, it almost seems like cheating, and definitely unrealistic, and i wanted to know other peoples opinions as well as any more "Classic" mcmourning/nicodem list which involves getting your corpses from the enemy!

  6. Or a name that's been around for hundreds of years yet (clearly) many people in the West don't seem too damned familiar with it?

    It's like Seamus.

I have a whole squad of locals that say, "See-muss" despite my constant correction. Good lord. That's not a terribly uncommon name.

Seamus is definitely Shay-Mus, as it's a irish name and thats how you pronounce it. But Lucius people are saying can be pronounced two ways, i think Loo-See-Us sounds best though.

  7. Lucius Malfoy was a character in Harry Potter and, if I recall correctly in the films, both Lu-see-us and Lu-Shuss were used, when different people were referring to him. I suspect it's a regional pronunciation difference and that both are right.

    Everybody wins!

    Mike

    Well actually, I win! ;)
