  1. I was a little bumbed they did not come with cards hope they release some sort of puppet wars cards at some point.

Yeah. Getting a card for each Puppet at the Webstore quickly mounts up. Almost 50 puppets, not counting Teddy, Hooded Rider, or Viktoria. That is almost $25 in cards alone, not including shipping.

  2. You know looking at the hunter i might have to take one just to harpoon ramos for a little extra movment first turn. Be some thing to try and get him in the fight a little faster. Armor means he is realy only looking at one wound. I realy think ramos could use a snowstorm type model designed to help with his movement.

If you just want a Harppon, wouldn't the Mechanical Rider be a better investment, albeit a few more SS?

  3. Is this list just for fun or competitive?

Just my opinion but if it is for competitive play I don't feel either Candy, nor her avatar are worthwhile options.

However, given that playing against Pandora, even if you win, can often be described as giving yourself a root canal without benefit of anasthetic, it might be something looking into.

I like the Candy Model, but in the current environment she doesn't fulfill her intended role as well as Lilitu does. So taking things that are cool like Candy rather than super efficient might be a way to give a little bit of pain medicine to the patient that is Pandora's opponent.

I can understand how the Nephilim twins are better than the Woe kids in most instances, but they have a parasitic bond, aka they depend on each other. One dies, the other is soon to follow. The Woe kids don't depend of each other, which, in of itself, is a strength that adds to their value (in my opinion). That is important when you play lower point games (I think) as you use less models, so each is a bigger asset.

  4. That is somewhat what I am thinking, down to the hate of the sculpt.

My thought is, why pay for Sybelle when for a few more points you can get Molly who does other stuff that's more interesting, for Belles, including summoning Sybelle herself?

As for your non-living troubles, bring the Avatar of Dread, he can scare even Undead/Scary stuff/Robots.

Well, beyond absolutely hating the model, I haven't found her to be very useful. I know she's got a lot of utility, and I know she has a bunch of tricks, but she runs into the same problem I find with Seamus himself- her most useful functions are against living models. Yes, she has flurry, but so do Punk Zombies...and I don't like having to use Lure just to get use out of a 5-6 point model. Ultimately, it comes down to she doesn't fit my meta, which is lots of Constructs, Nightmares and Undead, and she doesn't fit my playstyle. I have more interesting tricks I'd rather do with my pair of Belles I bring.

That, and I'm going to be running Molly a lot, I suspect, and that means that Sybelle can be summoned...so why I would pay points for her instead of bringing a non-Belle for the points?

  5. +1 on the Stitched Togethers.

Why bring him on his own? He doesn't use soulstones much, if at all, in my experience. He doesn't need them defensively very often since you can just pass attacks off to your marionettes, and he doesn't do any attacking since his puppets do all the work for him. I'd recommend bringing him as a henchman with Zoraida. They have a lot of synergy. I usually bring his box set + Zoraida + 2x Stitched Togethers. Makes for a very mobile trickery-filled crew!

Bringing him on his own let's you use the Reserve to hire even more dolls as he doesn't use his Cache a lot. Since he is "free" as a leader, and the ability of using his reserve to get more dolls, it is entirely viable to run him alone. At least that's my theory in paper. I haven't used him.

@dsmiles: I'd say if you want to run him beyond 25SS though, wait for the Widow Weaver (or proxy her). She helps him a lot and let's you summon a Teddy, which you may have already if you use the Dreamer. The Dreamer likes the Widow too, bonus.
