Warscore is excellent. We've been using it for Warhammer for a few years.

Just got the newsletter and saw much of the May 8th releases have been moved to the 15th. Ironsides and Rogue Necromancy aren't on the newletter at all though. Are they going to be out tomorrow or have they been postponed?
Seriously?

It's unfortunate for those of us who want to use actual Wyrd (plastic) models are in for a long wait to make Kirai playable.
-
Last night, played my first ever game with Nicodem. Summoned Rotten Bell, 2 Flesh Constructs, Punk Zombie, The Hanged, and I think 8 or so Mindless Zombies.
-
You have to remember that the game is in the middle of not only an edition change but also the end of the pewter era and the begin of the plastic age. It's not the best time to get into the game, agreed. Still, I heard getting into Warhammer is way more expensive...
They aren't comparable games!!
One is a massive wargame for 100-200 models, the other is a skirmish game for 5-10 models.

I picked up Seamus, Nicodem, McMorning, and a box of Mindless Zombies to start.
I also already have Izamu and an old metal Jack Daw I'll be using as a Hanged (probably with a TTB Plastic kit head swap).

I'd definitely go with something to run schemes for you. Necropunks/crooligans are both good enough that you could just pick up one blister and do almost everything scheme-y. They both have certain ones they're better at just based on the difference of their movement tricks. If you're trying for plastic only, neither of those are out yet, so I'd sub canine remains in their place, since those you can get in plastic, and you'll probably want a few around anyway.
can you even get blisters anymore?
unfortunately I would prefer plastic

Wow. That's a lot.
I just finished an 8000 point Warhammer Fantasy Nagash / Undead Legion army for a GT in 3 months. It is what has me on my Undead kick.

First up welcome to the best faction (and from your profile picture maybe your first real faction ).
Will be my second time doing Ressers (early on in M1E) and I've had every single faction almost complete at one point or another, haha.
-
Maybe I'll grab the 3 first book masters and a Flesh Construct.
-
Damn it! This one is for you, Mr. Z.
In all seriousness: Good ideas. Bete is a bit controversial, but much fun. The Nicodem box, Toshiro, Izamu and Yin and good alternatives. Yeah, Resser are a very well rounded faction. Just take what you like!
I plan to have everything, as usual, just wondering what is good to start with.

I'm starting Ressers today and picking up a few boxes. Seamus and McMorning to start.
I am probably going to grab a few support boxes but don't want to get EVERYTHING in one swoop just yet.
What are some good ideas to get with those 2 boxes?
I was thinking another Flesh Golem, Canine Remains, and maybe Bete.

Not impressed with the costs for those being free. Wyrd must be needing lots of money back on their plastic manufacturing
Please don't complain about FREE bonuses of special models.
Also there are 4 factions, maybe try to split an order with 3 friends who play them.

Performer sniper and gremlin are all lovely but not going to spend $300 to get them
D.
You don't have to, they are for spending $150

Sept 30 is a Tuesday. Hopefully it's not Sept 27, I have plans that day! I am working on my Gremlins and would love to bring them.

Most plastic shrinks as they cool after processing. Maybe some molds had their expansion value miscalculated? I can't imagine there is much shrink in a tool that tiny though.
(I have a background in plastic injection molding and automotive plastic mold design).

I don't think there has ever been free shipping for Gen Con, has there?
-
If brewmaster is available I'm going to buy the entire Gremlin faction to start playing.
-
With everything getting pushed back and being late, I don't mind waiting to be sure it will be available for sure... but I am impatient.
-
Just because Wyrd is smaller than GW and PP, doesn't make them a "small business". They are larger and larger every year. That is a poor excuse, imo.

Contents of the starter set would ideally be as follows;
- Two starter crews (as above). Basically the same setup as what you'd get in the current boxes (Master, Henchman/Enforcer, Totem, Minions).
- Two Fate decks.
- Measuring Tape (optional - most seem to have one of these anyway),
- Card Terrain (in partnership with Terraclips?),- A5 Rulebook,
- Soulstones (glass gemstones? Surely they'd be super-cheap to source in bulk)- Scheme and Corpse Markers. (double sided, so opposing colours for the scheme markers and scrap/corpse on the corpse markers)
- Introductory Campaign book.
I think all of the strikethrough text is unnecessary, based on my experience with other game starter sets.
The important thing is models and basic rules, and the ability to use those basic rules.

Where in Michigan? There is a good sized group that meets at Flat Land Games in Wixom (near 96/275) on Wednesdays and other days. We generally post on the Malifaux Wednesdays group on Facebook.

Still no update?

That Guy will often have a strange mark upon his body which is immune to pain. He will often be accompanied by an animal familiar with whom he conspires constantly.
In order to identify him, we recommend binding his hands and feet and throwing him into a pond. Or simply asking if he has ever owned a Warhammer Fantasy Chaos Demons army.
Or played Neverborn in Malifaux 1.5
Malifaux at Adepticon?

The Adepticon preview schedule is out and there is no Malifaux on it. What's the deal?
Did Malifaux organizers not get their schedule in?
