  1. So I got my Breech Bag this morning and after giving it a look over I think it'll be worthwhile.

There's plenty of real estate though BF could've added a few more pockets to help things be organized more. They have a dual stack of trays with each having a 3" & 1.5" pluck foam, 2x 1.5" trays for models (just like the troop tray from the original Malifaux Bag), and a 1.5" tray that has 8 slots for standard models and 36 slots for smaller/height 1 models.

Note that this is an increase from the original Malifaux bag which had a 1" tray instead. The 3" pluck foam tray is also an increase from the original bag which had a 2.5" pluck foam tray.

I was able to get three rules books in the main pouch, and 2 of the rules manuals with 3 decks of cards in one of the medium sized pockets. I got 2 measuring tapes and a bunch of soul stone counters (in a plastic blister) in one of the smaller pockets. The other two pockets I plan to use for cards, and yes the smaller pocket can fit a small stack of laminated cards vertically.

The bag also has a set of wheels, and is designed to be able to fit airplane carry on dimensions if memory serves correctly. No shoulder strap, but there are straps that you can use for carrying it. It does have a pull-out handle for when you want to tug it around on the wheels.

The price is $179.99 before shipping for a standard load out bag, $149.99 for an empty bag (no foam trays), and $204.99 for a custom load out.

  2. It seems that Snowstorm is great to add mobility to Rasputina, and maybe durability to Marcus.

Who or what is the small humanoid figure who stands in front of the horned bear?

The spell "ice pillars" seems to be modified. Only one set of pillars per crew? So even with Rasputina, a totem and a Snowstorm, only one per crew per turn.

That is correct. Ice Pillars creates terrain that, while breakable, can have a big effect on your opponents movement. Being able to do more than one set in a turn would be a bit over the top :D Having a totem or Snowstorm throw them down leaves Raspy with another action to use on December's Curse though, which is a big bonus :D

  3. It started towards the end of June/Beginning of December, but I finally completed a Lady Justice box for DeusInnomenen. I figured I would share the results here for you guys, and if you want a more in depth look just check out my blog: http://mydnightshobbycorner.blogspot.com/search/label/Patron

Let's start off with the Lady herself!

And then her erstwhile companion, The Judge! I was inspired by the character of Vash the Stampede for his outfit.

No Lady Justice crew would be complete without Death Marshalls...

Overall I'm satisfied with my work, but the OSL is a little jarring and something I need to practice. You gotta start somewhere though!

  4. I'm curious....

Are there henchmen who are seriously considering getting 1 or more of the Santana model to sell them?

I guess if this is the case, each to thier own. I know that I really appreciate that a special model is being made available as a reward for my work on Wyrd's behalf.

I know that one of mine is going to be for my very own self :D I also have a very good friend who plays guild who is likely to get one of my other two. There's a Strumpet out there gunning for the third so I don't know that I'll have any left.

  5. I may be misunderstanding this, but p. 39 says,

"Model's in range of an enemy's melee Weapon, or with an enemy model within their melee Weapon range, are said to be engaged in melee..."

However, the night terror only has a 1" melee Weapon Range so is the example hypothetical?

Ravenborne is right, my mistake. It's too early in the morning to be the morning after a 12 hour day @_@

  6. Okay, maybe my first post didn't convey the rules behind this, but Requirement said it already: since Single Minded is an ability with a defined end point it remains active, regardless of reverting to original form, until that end point is reached or it is somehow removed (by Dispel Magic, killing Myranda,...). The fact that it's not printed on her card is irrelevant.

Ah, yes, that's right. That's what I get for answering questions after three straight days of driving and climbing on ladders.

  7. Just as an example, Rasputina's Ice Pillars specifically states that it can only be cast once per turn per crew. Either Raspy, Snowstorm, or Raspy's totem could use 1AP to cast it once but then none of them could cast it again.

  10. This was a lot of fun to read! I had been wondering who the gent that came to play chess was and, well you should read to find out who B-)

One point of feedback that I would mention is the introduction to the piece. While I can see establishing the character of John, as well as elaborating the situation, I think that it may be a touch long overall. I wouldn't know what to cut since it all seems important, but perhaps it could be condensed slightly?

One thing I will say is that you paint a very vivid picture, and I feel like all the major characters from the setting were appropriately portrayed. I'd be interested to see a follow up to this :-)

  11. It really is a bad ass avatar.

I'm now reminded why I'm paying Mydnight for a commission. He's very capable. :)

That seems to be the consensus anyways :D Thanks everyone for your kind words! In spite of the aftermath I had a lot of fun getting aNico painted up.

@Infinitepi: I felt the same way when I first started to use him, but I have a little bit of extra foam to keep him steady and there hasn't been any issues yet. I'm currently more concerned about aRamos, and am probably going to do that nifty conversion I've seen floating around involving the Ramos alt and the Steamborg.
