Malifaux. Actually it was my first game with Seamus, playing against Pandora for the first time. She's a bit nasty... She likes to by pass my hard to wound..

Very nice, the detail on the cards is really amazing.

I am also on the Colette boat. I love the minis and their play style. Her crew is fast, and can be hard hitting (granted not as hard hitting as some other crews, but they can get the job done). That and they have been really fun to paint.

I have that stuff that I use for my washes/glazes. Except I use inks for color. I never thought of putting them in my paints though, but it is a great idea. Thanks for the tip!

So do you just put that stuff in the paint jars? Or do you mix it when you use them?

I have one of those mats that is made for acrylic paints to keep them moist while you are painting (although I just started using it).

I do a primer of flat black paint (covering the entire model) then I do the layers of color. The gloves, hat and boots are a gold metallic paint though.

I'm curious where do you see the metal showing through?

I've taken some of the advice given here and put some more work into Colette. I'm keeping my paints real wet but I seem to be having a hard time making the paint look smooth.

Marcus seems to be one of those masters people have a hard time with. In this thread here people are trying to trouble shoot him, and find the most effective way to use him.

I remember reading somewhere in the rules where it mentioned if a spell didn't have an end to the duration in its text, then it ended in the closing phase. I may be wrong here, but that's what I am thinking.

Yea I was planning on using magnets so I will cut it back to 9 spiders. That seems a little less crazy. Besides I think I would be hard pressed to get 10 on the table at once. Although I'm sure I could if I really tried.

But between the 9 spiders, Joss, Executioner, and the Brass Arachnid I think I have a couple of options to play around with at least.

I'm excited to give him a go, he sounds like a fun/interesting Master, and I love his fluff!

The convict gunslinger seems to come up a lot for different Masters.. I might need to look at getting one.

Do you think the extra box of rotten belle's is needed? Do you ever run more than 3?

I just got Vulkan, but I am holding off on the landraiders for now, $60 for a model is pretty brutal..

I am looking at picking up Ramos and just wanted to post what I was thinking of getting to get some feed back on it.

Thoughts, suggestions?

From what I have read about him he really likes spiders, then some more spiders. That electrical creations can be good, and Joss is a powerhouse when used correctly. Then the ability for the brass arachnid to give reactivate seemed pretty good to me.

I guess the one thing I am wondering about is 12 spiders too many? I figure you would only start the game with a couple of swarms, but I would need enough models so I could summon them.

Anyway, what do you think?

Does this seem a pretty good place to be with him? From what I have read this is pretty much his comfort zone, and it is enough points that I could do fairly large games if I wanted. But still I am pretty new, so I would appreciate some feed back from all of you.

Does the fact that Seamus just uses a lot of rotten belles make him a boring master?

Do the steampunk arachnid swarms come with 3 30 mm bases and the 40mm base? Or just the 40mm base?
