[h=4]There are rumors going around that the Ten Thunders have infiltrated The Guild. If this is true then it’s possible they’ve infiltrated other organizations as well. Will they try and stop our run for the Library of All Libraries?[/h]Each player will sign up with the master that they want to play for the entire league.

You may choose one master from any faction except ten thunders, therefore Misaki may not be played as a master. (An exception, will be made for Mac as he is leading the Ten Thunders in their infiltration)

After signing up you must talk to Mac to determine if you are a ten thunders secret agent, this will determine which faction you want to win (the one you signed up with or Ten Thunders)

You may not play the same opponent twice in a row at any time during the league, also you may only play one game a week against someone from your own faction, any other games against your own faction will not score story points.

The league will last 5 weeks, starting Feb. 1st and lasting until March 9th.

Each game will be played at 35 soulstones, at the end of each game a battle report must be turned in.

At the end of those five weeks the player with the best win/loss ratio (with atleast 5 games on record) will win their Fate. The faction with the most clues to the whereabouts of the map will find it.

Each game played will generate the following story points:

• win 3 story points
  
• Loss 1 story point
  
• Tie 0 story points
  

Points are spent to help your faction find clues to the whereabouts of the map to the Library of Libraries.

After each game, players will secretly turn in their points with the name of their faction ( spies would be apart of ten thunders)

Running totals will be posted on the forum weekly.

At the end of each week the faction with the most points will gain a clue to the whereabouts of the map to the library of all libraries

Each faction that gets at least 10 points per week will also receive a clue to the map as well

Whichever faction has found the most clues by the end of the league will find the map and head to the library and will control the fate of Malifaux.

Outing A Spy:

• A player may try to out a ten thunder spy by announcing a special challenge. One challenge of this type may be put forth per week, also no story points can be scored for this type of game as well as the next game the challenger plays.
  

• If you win your opponent must reveal themselves truthfully (if they are a spy or not) and if they are indeed a spy the challenger will receive a bounty prize. If the person being challenged wins whether they are a spy or not they will win the bounty prize
  

• If a player is revealed as a ten thunder spy they will leave their current faction and become part of the ten thunders faction officially and will continue the league as normal
  

Prizes:

To be eligible for prizes a player must have played at least 5 games by week 5

• Map to the Library of Libraries (faction with the most clues) – Awesome discount of awesomeness on all Malifaux Merch

I hope so, because her running around with a possible CB 15 is she uses a soulstone is just stupid.

the problem with the old ruling that Omenbringer linked is that the wording on the ability has changed. It no longer sais all other. Now it reads all friendly models in line of sight. Since a model is always friendly to itself and always in line of sight to itself I'd say she gets it.

were you able to use plastic glue or will we need super glue?

"This model may take the Charge Action if it has a target model within its LoS, which is not already in its melee range..."

So you need LoS, and the target can't already be in your melee range (though you could be in its melee range, so its possible to be engaged and still charge).

that was a great game, dude! Can't wait for round 2. Next time I'm thinking about bringing a different master.

just remember it does require a mask to cast. In the case you find yourself short on those you can always flurry, blades and bullets, and melee expert. That's still 6 attacks and nothing to sneeze at.

Personally, sticking the Student with an Austringer, is awesome. 2x Austringers with a Student is awesome.

As stated, moving and doing the (2) action is awesome. And then when they get close, 5 shots total from them is great.

Just watch out for blast weapons though, as the Student can fall down quite easily.

actually, since he's a merc you're paying 4. But as far as him getting left behind it's all about timing. don't use it untill you know it's gonna be worth it.

give fast to the judge. He can use blades and bullets 3 times, that's 6 attacks. Then throw in Lady J's ability to give him melee expert, you get 7. Ow!

no you weren't. once you pass you can't cheat or use soulstones

if you use this trick right it can ge real ugly. try throwing in some canine remains to kill off and see how that works.

Hi all, there will be a gaining ground tournament on Saturday June 2nd. It will be held at Go4 Games located at 701 David Dr. Suite D in Metairie Louisiana. The doors will open at 11 and the tournament will start at noon. It will be 30ss with a 15 ss sideboard and running 4 rounds. There will be prizes for best overall, best sportsman, best painted, and the dreaded lantern rouge for last place. so come on by and help make bad things happen!

Models must have line of sight in addition to being within range.

this is correct

the model has to be IN the terrain and 3" or less to be able to be targetted. If the model is on the other side of the terrain it doesn't matter how thick it is the model cannot be targetted.

ignores cover and only ignores armour if it has the ignore armour ability!

if ya read both rules hunter doesnt say it ignores any other effect except cover. and ignores the:-fate

if the target has armour# then this is applied to the target and reduces the damage accordingly.

3" auras do not block LoS to the generating model.

If a model is in base to base with a terrain piece, then I would say it's touching that terrain. Because of that, you don't need to go completely through it. As long as it's only 3", you can see.

and the reason for this is becasue the rules say MORE than 3". So if you are exactly 3 inches into the terain or AoE then you are not more than. Thought this explenation may clarify things a bit

I've been told that companion goes both ways. So if joe and bob both have companion simon, then simon can companion both of them at the same time as long as they are in range

yea, I've tried her myself as a leader and didn't have much luck. I see her as a replacement for seamus when he goes all avatar. She does things for the belles very close to what seamus does. Just my 2 cents

would you be refering to the lucios trick

paralized does not stack but it does carry over. for example if you have a model that has already activated and gets paralized for some reason or another, it carrys over to the next turn.
