  1. I don't think I would include the austringer as a lone living model because for it to do it's no-LOS thing it can't move.

Actually, the Austringer always ignores cover and LoS. I've found that the Austringer works very well, but like you I am eagerly waiting for the Warden. As for taking two watchers versus a watcher and a 5 stone model, I figure it really comes down to what strategy you're running. For something like Destroy the Evidence I would take the 2 watchers for the increased mobility. Being able to reactivate them makes them that much faster for objective grab.

Also, your observation about being too speedy with the Peacekeeper is very accurate, and a problem I had before I realized Hoffman functions best with his crew between 4" and 6" away. With Hoffman's crew, they have enough armor to be able to plod across the board without worrying too much about incoming fire

  2. In all honesty there aren't many things out there that aren't afraid of Pandora. The easiest way to take her down with most minions is with indirect attacks, such as blasts and pulses, like the Punk Zombie's slice and dice. Also, anything that can ignore talents and spells which require WP duels to target models wreck Pandora. High WP models are also pretty much a necessity due to her tricks.

She's very difficult to defeat, but not impossibe. Just try to hit her with indirect attacks or models who just don't care and she won't be as big of a pain as normal. She'll still be a tough fight, but not as bad. Good luck!

  3. I am very excited to announce the Phoenix Games 35 stone Triumph tournament! This tournament will be a accumulation format, and here's the best part.

If the tournament has at least 12 participants, the first place winner wins an ENTIRE Malifaux faction of their choice. The second place player wins $25, and the third wins $15. On top of that, the top 8 players win dog tags unique to the event.

The entry fee for the event is $25, and we have 40 slots available. The tournament starts at 2:30 on April 7th at Phoenix Games, located at 4737 Thompson Mill Road, suite 100, Buford Georgia, 30518.

We are very excited to run this event, and we look forward to a great response!

  4. Welcome on board !

One thing to consider, in a couple of months time Hoffman will be released, and if you want to branch out into Outcasts I imagine he will go very well alongside Leveticus.

Awesome, I'll keep that in mind. And thanks to the three of you for the welcome

  5. Yeah, I recently learned that I am not a subtle player. So Guild, or any crew that revolves around the idea of hitting things until they stop resisting works pretty well for me.

Also, thank you for the welcome both of you. I look forward to a long and pleasant stay

  6. I have about 2000 points of Grey Knights in WH40k, and all of 16 points of Khador in Warmachine.

As for Malifaux, I'm planning on running a Guild crew to start with. I figure after that I'll probably go for some Mercenaries. After that I don't really have any clear direction

  7. Hey everyone. I just recently started getting into Malifaux and figured I would join the forum and see what's going on. I'm a big fan of tabletop games in general, but I've always really enjoyed the model games more than anything else.

Anyway, I look forward to being part of the community and getting my Crew together. Here's to seeing the rest of you around the forum
