when I'm not too lazy to get up and take it out for a pic, i'll post my ressers wagon, made the wagon part out of balsa wood and GW wagon wheel, and the coffin from the old Black Coach
-
i'm leaving the face off of mine, and just painting it to be an empty helmet

An Ophelia Avatar mimicking the Perdita Avatar would be awesome. What would she be riding? Gremlins use pigs all the time but Som'er already rides a pig in his avatar. I'd like something new and funny....and plastic.
a special war rooster, it has wings already afterall

ice golem could be a little less spindly,
and I have to admit, I don't have a huge issue with the ice gamin, but they could look a little more like they're made from ice, and not wierd little reptillian guys
-
i think they've said before that they wanted to stay away from any religious characters.
a gremlin preacher and gremlin nuns with shotguns would be great though
-
the thing I liek the most with the books is the background, rules and minionwise, they're all about equal across the board for me, I can't say much about avatars only because I haven't gotten any yet
-
electrical construct, it looks like a steel ball wadded in bubblegum,
master Misaki, I don't like the effect in the foot kicking up, and plan on using the original masaki model as an alt if i ever get a 10T crew.
mcM I don't mind the mini, I ended up sculpting a gasmask over the face, not that it's too noticeable, but have noticed he's basically a triangle with an arm coming off the side
and actually, the art doesn't look 100% like the models, there's some differences, even if they're small ones
-
why would I need to throw out my models again? i never did with any other miniatures game when the rules were updated
-
wish I'd done that with my sybelle, all I did was add a hat and a bustle, mostly because I didn't want to paint that ass...

nice, haven't been able to do much myself yet, with mandatory overtime at work and babysitting housemate's ancient sickly canine remain unfortunatly

looks cool

there's some elements of each game I play I like, alot of it is setting and visuals, part of why i mostly left card games for miniture games for me is the visuals, I like seeing a battlefield and feeling more like I'm comanding around troops (even if it's in miniature) more than i like feeling like i'm pushing cards around a table. but aside from that, every game I play has it's things that appeals to me, Malifaux is smaller scale, skirmished base, interesting mechanic with flipping cards, and (usually) fast paced. Warhammer/w40k are good if you have a weekend clear for just masses of units, in large scale wars, alot of customization both of the individual mini's, and how they play (wargear, phsycic powers, etc.) Battletech is scaleable, you can play it as a small board game, to a huge scale war,
Mageknight back in the day I liked how all the stats were in the base, and the players made the history of the world through the games they played (their library on the site for getting all the background was a headache though)
-
they look alot thinner, though i think it's more the fact they can look thinner with the plastic and all. but otherwise they don't look too much different in style, maybe a little less maniacle looking, but still not bad.
there's a couple I don't like, but there's been a couple of the older waves I wasn't a huge fan of too, hence why I convert or make different ones

i've played a couple times, Halflingspy has it at his place. it's a pretty good game
-
i actually like Molly, I've paired her with McM, Seamus and actualy had a couple successes on occasion using her by herself in smaller games
-
so far i've only played a couple of Halflingspy's tournaments, just having a time limit seems fine enough without adding or taking away rules
-
if we have 6 months like what was mentioned, that's a good time frame for me, I can get something done in that time
-
considered getting a small Khador force, doubt i'd expand it too much past the small force like I have malifaux and the warhammers though
-
this time of year, trying to get a game in alone is tough, let alone getting a large group of people for it

my 2nd flesh construct, 'Sloth' is sculpted (aside from his mechanicle arm i took from a cheap grocery store vending machine model), my rouge necromancy is at least 30% scuplted, the rest's conversion. 2 of my seinshin are sculpted. my soulstone miner is 90% scupted greenstuff (the digging claws are from an old MK mini) and I have an abortive attempt at partially sculpting/partially converting a shikome, the end result looked like Dolly Parton beat in the face with a vat of acid, and less like a shikome
oh hey, I need to read the whole thready before posting, it's a sculpting chalenge now? i need to think of an idea then

wfb, still have a skaven and vampire counts army, just dont get to play as often. 40k next, still into it, don't get to play as often as I'd like, mageknight before it was retired. short stint with heroclix, now i mostly just collect them rather than play, got into malifaux because i like steampunk, i like zombies, and i don't (usually) need to plan months in advance to get a game in.
just recently beginning to get into battletech, as well as considering a small khador force with warmachine
there's really no 1 game only for me, i like variety, and not one for quitting a game unless there's noone else around me playing it, and even then I just put my forces in temporary retirement until finding new players. having said that, I'd kill for a decent fast paced squad based 40k ruleset I could use my armies for, other than killteam
-
i'd be a resser, stitching together random bodyparts, combining zombies with machinery, and sending them out to do whatever. reanimated zombies with gatling guns for arms
mostly for the laughs
-
I want to play a resser character based off the one I roleplay in a few 2nd life communities, sort of a steampunk Charles Dexter Ward

Troubles with flesh
in The Hobby Room
Posted
i'm great at cutting corners with flesh, elf flesh for a pale look, dwarf flesh for a darker look, rotting flesh for zombies, cover it with devlin mud wash, then drybrush it with more of the elf/dwarf/rotting flesh.

i mostly use citadel colors because it all looks like different shades of grey to me, so if i'm looking at something that's labelled "zombie flesh', I have a clear idea that it's somewhat fleshy colored.
